G'day all

Has been a long time since we have last posted on here.

Today we decided to bring the car home after a long time and a few bills getting in the way. Time to now focus on trying to get it all sorted for the season.

If anyone wanted to jump on board to it would be much appreciated to get the team to and from the track as well as keeping the car on the track.

Some great photos from mix it up photography from our little test and tune night behind the production sedans at Gatton speedway. Can't thank the organisers and volunteers enough for letting me have a run.
Think we have got on top of all the little issue we had at gympie now to tidy the car up for Sydney in march.

Thank you to my crew chief for all the help last night.

Thanks to the sponsors on board

With every other race meeting across the state being cancelled we managed to be able to tag on the back on productions to have a run. We will be starting half a lap behind the field of productions and using this as a run in before we head to Sydney. 🤞 Fingers crossed for no dramas

Not what the team wanted to see with all the changes that have been made we really needed another run before towing to Sydney..

Mother nature you win.

Saturday night the 8th of February.

The team ventured up the highway to have a race at gympie speedway with a great number of cars. There was 4 round of heat each car missing a heat. I was lucky enough to miss the first round of heats.

Our time was up starting out of 10 for this heat which was nice to be off the rear with all the changes that have been done to the car. Once the light went green I just couldn't believe how much methanol works with instant torque on a crossflow that all I will say. I was right on the bumper of Tim weir up the front straight have a really good battle. Untill mid way through the race I came up and over the top of the race track hitting the brakes for the pedal to go straight to the floor well that was that heat done pulled on the infield with a dnf.

Heat 2 was coming up with finding a issue in the lhf hub we putt all the bias to the rear brakes. Started out of 8th in this heat I just didn't know what to expect so I came down to the hair pin to find out that the car entered really well had a great battle with Steve blackburn throughout the heat it was good to get the car home in 7th.

Heat 3 after losing the pedal on the way into the pits after the second heat I decided I would miss this heat and bleed the rear brakes so off we went to be ready for the main race.

Getting the car ready for the feature where we started out of 9th in the main race was a good start going to the top corner still have issue with the brakes just end up not racing so hard. I ended up getting a love tap on the back corner turning me around apparently I was deemed cause of the stoppage so I took it on the chin and went of the back of the pack. With a few cars dropping out. I once again was have a great battle with Steve blackburn in his little blue cortina all the way until the chequered flag dropped. I ended up finishing 6th the the main race.

I wouldn't have made this meeting with out all the help from dad throughout the week 5 day in a row from 5 till about 8 every night It was a long bloody week with alot of changes made. And all the help through out the night from Hayley,Dad,Mum,Mark and Fee.

The car performed amazing but just the little teething issue that will be sorted this week.

Would like to give Declan and Renee from tasman racewear a massive thank you for all the new shirts and race suit was great to have the team looking good around the pits

Was great to have my bosses and sponser. Jim,Jeff and family watch in the crowd.

Hopefully we will get the car sorted and head to Maryborough speedway on the 15th to have a run and making sure the car is 100% before we load up and head down to Sydney international speedway for a run in march.

I would like to thank my sponsors for helping out at any chance there can.

After countless hours in the shed we have made it to Mothar Mountain for a run. Today will be a test run to see how the car handles after a few changes. New diff, changed from petrol to methanol and new brakes just to name a few.

Time to see how the corty goes before we head to Sydney's Eastern Creek on the 1st of March.

Tonight will live timed if you're keen to watch.

Thankyou to Dad for coming to the rescue this week and putting in the hours with me.

The car is all ready for the trip down to Lismore speedway on the 11th of January.

We had alot of repair/changes to be done to the naughty corty since our last meeting which was the qld title.

There was broken bar work and bent bar work in the front corner which has all be porter powered back into place and rewelded. There has been a few changes to suspension which finger crossed they all work for us. We have also put a methanol carby on the car since our last meeting now thanks to Steve Bradford for helping the team out fingers crossed we have installed and got everything right. We bent a steering rack at Toowoomba so have put our spare one in seems to be fine at home but the track will tell.

We would be able to get to the track with out our amazing sponsors.
