Back to town after last weeks very successful Sealink carnival! Short trip on the bus to the home of the Garbutt Bombers, as each team looks to continue their good form👊

What an absolutely incredible day for the Magnetic Island Magpies Junior AFL Club at the Sealink Carnival! 🖤💛🏉

Today was about far more than football. It was about community, teamwork, support, pride and giving our kids an experience they will remember for years to come.

On behalf of the club, I want to sincerely thank every volunteer, parent, coach, sponsor, supporter and community member who played a part in making the day such a success. These events simply do not happen without the amazing people behind the scenes who give up their time and energy for the kids and for the club.

Hours of work during the week, training sessions, early mornings, transporting kids, organising equipment, setting up, packing down, helping on the sidelines, cooking, cleaning, encouraging players and cheering all day long — every single contribution mattered and was genuinely appreciated.

To our players, you represented the Magpies with outstanding effort, sportsmanship, teamwork and heart. Win, lose or draw, you made the entire club proud today.

To our wider Magnetic Island community, thank you for continuing to support junior AFL and helping create something truly special for our local kids and families. The strength of this club has always been its people, and today was another reminder of how lucky we are to be part of such an amazing community.

The future of the Magnetic Island Magpies is looking incredibly bright. 🖤💛

👕 MERCHANDISE for the footy club will be up for sale too. Singlets and Polis in most sizes!

👊 EVERYONE in attendance, wherever you’re involved directly to the footy club or not, would be amazing to see as many faces as possible!

HUGE Day of footy for the footy club and local community! Games run all morning, round robin style, starting with under 9s! Would love to see EVERYONE come down and support the kids, grab a feed or just socialise at the biggest event on the Island on Saturday!

Will be reminders throughout the week leading into Saturday to get as much support, people and fun around the clubhouse as possible😁
