Due to a glitch with the initial Cannonvale Meet upload in Swim Central and my limited availability over the weekend, I couldn't fix it until Monday night. Someone reopened the problem file, which is closed now, but for those swimmers who have already submitted their nominations, don’t worry—your nominations have not been lost and will be transferred to MM when the meet closes. If your nominations include events after 48 hours, you will receive a refund for those incorrect events.

Race Secretary, please note that you will need to re-link the new file on Swim Central. I apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.

What an incredible night making Tiger Sharks history with our very first ever Club Championships! 🦈🏆

A huge THANK YOU to all of our amazing volunteers who helped make the night such a success — from setup, timekeeping, marshalling, BBQ crew, recording, ribbons, medals and pack up… our club simply could not do this without you 🧡💜

We are proud to say we are the ONLY club in town running a Club Championships event like this, and the ONLY club with a custom-made professional podium! 🏅👏

A massive thank you to Nick from OZ Chip Carpentry for generously donating this incredible podium. It absolutely made the presentations feel extra special for the kids! If you need professional renovation work done around your home, give Nick and his team a call on 0481 752 712 — they are incredible tradesmen who truly support our Tiger Sharks community. They recently completed Coach Matt’s bathroom renovation and it looks absolutely brilliant! 🙌

Some highlights from the evening:
✨ Smiling faces everywhere as kids raced alongside their friends and teammates
✨ Medal and ribbon presentations on the new podium
✨ Siblings racing together in relay teams
✨ Coach Matt racing alongside his son in the relays
✨ A yummy BBQ thanks to our amazing supporters and sponsors
✨ The mixed relays finishing the night with huge energy and excitement
✨ 18 CLUB RECORDS were set and broken on the night! Some of these records were originally set in the early days of our club by some extremely talented swimmers — check them out below in the highlights 👏
✨ Some unbelievably close racing showing just how exciting the future is for our club!

One of the most exciting races of the night was the Boys 9yrs 100IM — ending in a DEAD HEAT between Olli and Archer 🤯 Both boys were awarded a gold medal each 🥇🥇

Another super close battle was the Girls 8yrs 100IM with only .03 separating Paige and Arianna 👏🔥

This level of competition within our own club is incredibly exciting for the future of Tiger Sharks 🦈

And of course… Liam gave us one VERY special relay moment 😂 Let’s just say… you had to be there! A true Tiger Sharks memory that won’t be forgotten anytime soon 🦈

To finish the night — Filip standing smiling in victory for his relay team was the perfect ending to an unforgettable first Club Champs💜🧡

This week we celebrate the incredible volunteers who help make the Townsville Tiger Sharks Swimming Club such a special community 🦈👏

From timekeepers, recorders, marshalls, officials and team managers, to our BBQ legends, fundraising stars, committee members and all the parents who jump in to help — thank you for everything you do 🧡💜

Our club simply wouldn’t run without your support, dedication and team spirit. Every early morning, every race meet, every sausage sizzle and every helping hand makes a difference 🏊‍♂️✨

🔥💜🧡 CLUB EVENT BBQ HELPERS NEEDED 🧡💜🔥
Our upcoming club championships is this weekend and we’re looking for a few legends to help out with the BBQ on the day! 🌭🍔
Helping out can include:
✅ Cooking the BBQ
✅ Serving food & drinks
✅ Helping set up or pack down

If you are able to arrive a little earlier around 230pm for BBQ set up thats even better!!

These events only happen thanks to our amazing Tiger Sharks families and every little bit of help makes a huge difference 🫶
