💙💙 Day 1 Done & Dusted – Maccas Carnival 2026 💙💙

What an incredible first day of carnival! Our Te Whānau Sports Club whānau made us so proud both on and off the court.

Today wasn't just about the results—it was about the heart, determination and whanaungatanga shown by every player, coach, manager, umpire and supporter. We witnessed some outstanding netball, fantastic sportsmanship and plenty of smiles along the way.

The wait is over! Wishing every one of our Te Whānau Sports Club teams the very best of luck as we head into our weekend of netball at the Maccas Carnival 2026.

Play with pride, support each other, and most importantly... have fun! Every game is another opportunity to learn, grow and make lifelong memories together.

As always, our Te Whānau are cheering every single one of you on! Whether you're on the court, on the sideline, or behind the scenes, you are all an important part of our whānau.

A huge congratulations to our NQU Ladies on an outstanding start to the Cluster Weekend, coming away with some great wins from some great games! 🔥👏

One of the highlights of the day was seeing our three Te Whānau players Addison, Mia, and Jenaya take the court, with three of our junior players proudly accompanying them onto the court before the game. It was a truly special moment and a reminder of what our club is all about—creating pathways, inspiring the next generation, and celebrating our whānau together. 💙✨

Seeing our juniors looking up to our senior players was a proud moment for everyone involved, and one we'll remember for a long time.

Congratulations to all the players, coaches, management, and supporters on a fantastic day. Keep the momentum going!

Manaia, this is an incredible achievement and one that is so richly deserved. Your commitment, work ethic, and determination have been second to none.
