Girls Football Program & Summer Season – NOW FREE!

Tarneit North Football Club is proud to encourage more girls and mums to get involved in football, build confidence, stay active and enjoy being part of a supportive community.

Thanks to the generous sponsorship from Greenfields Business Broker, the program and summer season shown in this campaign are now FREE for participants.

A first to remember for TNFC! ⚽❤️🖤

Last weekend, Tarneit North Football Club marked a proud milestone: our first tournament in 2026, organised together with Red Sea Football Club and hosted at TNFC.

It was a small tournament, but a meaningful step for our growing club—bringing young players, coaches and families together to play, learn and celebrate community football.

Our teams had plenty to celebrate:
🏆 Under 13: TNFC 6–1 Red Sea
🏆 Under 17: TNFC 3–1 Red Sea

Thank you to Red Sea Football Club for helping make this tournament possible, and to our coaches, volunteers and families for the work and support behind the scenes.

To our players: enjoy these results, stay humble and keep learning. Every training session and every match is another step in your journey.

130-plus children. One big welcome. ⚽❤️🖤

Tomorrow, Tuesday 22 September, we’ll welcome more than 130 children aged 4–11 to Tarneit North Football Club for the first time, including more than 40 girls.

We’re proud to run this school holiday program for families across Wyndham. Thank you to Wyndham City Council for supporting opportunities for our community to get involved, and to our club sponsor Greenfields Real Estate.

A lot of work goes into getting ready for a day like this. To our coaches, volunteers and everyone helping behind the scenes: thank you. Your time and care will help turn a first visit into a warm welcome.

For us, giving back means making space for children to try football, meet new friends and feel part of their local club. Welcoming 40-plus girls is something we’re especially excited about as we work to grow participation.

To every family joining us tomorrow: welcome to TNFC. We can’t wait to meet you. Let’s make it a day full of football, encouragement and fun!

TNFC families, a little help with fees can make a real difference.

Eligible families can now apply for a Get Active Kids voucher worth up to $200 per child. Planning for our 2027 winter season? Apply early, select Tarneit North Football Club (club code 7406230), and send your voucher to us as soon as it arrives.

Applications close at 10am on 13 October 2026, or earlier if funding runs out. Vouchers expire on 27 April 2027. Please check eligibility and your chosen club before applying:

SUMMER TRAINING STARTS WEDNESDAY 16 SEPTEMBER
If you missed our earlier message, the program is planned for eight weeks:
• Wednesdays: approximately 6:30–7:30pm
• Sundays: approximately 4pm; finishing time to be confirmed
Final times will be announced shortly. There will be no more Saturday sessions under this program.

TNFC JUNIOR FOOTBALL – 2027

As we continue planning for the 2027 season, Tarneit North FC is pleased to confirm that we will be fielding an Under 13 team next year.

We are also currently seeking Expressions of Interest to establish:

• Under 15 Team
• Under 17 Team

Players interested in joining TNFC are encouraged to register their interest. The formation of the U15 and U17 teams will be subject to sufficient player numbers and the appropriate coaching and team structures being established.

This is part of our continued development of a pathway for players to progress from junior football towards our future senior program.

☀️ A heads-up for TNFC families as summer training approaches.

Training may be shortened, postponed or cancelled due to heat. Please check club updates before leaving home.

Junior stop/postpone limits in the supplied Football Victoria policy:
• MiniRoos: 26°C WBGT and above
• U12–U18: 29°C WBGT and above

WBGT measures heat stress, including humidity and sun exposure. These are NOT ordinary weather-app temperatures. Sessions may be stopped earlier if conditions are unsafe.

Please apply SPF 30+ sunscreen in high UV conditions, bring a cap for arrival and breaks, and pack plenty of water. Take shaded rest breaks and tell your coach straight away if you feel unwell.
