Well, 2027 might be their year!
Springwood AFC Masters is welcoming new players for our Men’s 45s, developing Men’s 35s and exploring Women’s 35s.
No superstar status required. Just a sense of humour and a willingness to have a go.

🏉 OVER 35? OVER 45? STILL MAKING EXCUSES?
Here’s something to think about…
According to Australian Sports Commission research, 56% of Australians aged 35–44 and 51% of those aged 45–54 were insufficiently active.
That’s roughly 1 in 2 of us not getting enough exercise.
Too busy with work? Kids? Life? We get it.
But when did getting fit, catching up with mates and having a laugh become things we don’t have time for?
At Springwood AFC Masters, we’re building something for 2027.

Master’s AFL is about more than what happens on the field. It’s about looking after yourself and having a great bunch of mates around you.

Aussie Rules football for over-35s is booming in country Victoria, where players are reaping the rewards of community and connection.

Great turn out for the final group training run in Queensland before we head to Newcastle for the 2026 Carnival.
Thanks to Springwood Australian Football Club for hosting again.

Great turn out today on very warm day. Thanks to the BOQ for supporting our players and a huge shout out to the Springwood Footy Club for hosting and keeping the squad hydrated and fed!
See you all on Saturday in Newcastle.
