Wilson Windsports has emerged out of winter hibernation.....
We are excited to announce the creation of our new Women and Youth programs! We will be running a trial for this program in the lead up to Spring with the hope that everyone will have the skills to foil by themselves by Summer! This is a Zero to Hero package, spread over 5 weeks, therefore you need no experience to take part in it.
Over the next 5 weeks Wilson Windsports will be offering the following on a trial basis (We will be running these sessions every Sunday afternoon from the 7th August to the 4th September);
- She Foils - $140 pp/pw
- Youth Girls Foiling (under 19) $120 pp/pw
- Youth Foiling (under 19) $120 pp/pw

Update from Euros;
Day 3, first day of Finals racing!
Will and Tash collectively took 5 years off my hairline!
Will left it until the last race to cement his place in gold fleet (top half for the finals series) 73/154!
Tash, after a week of F50 sailing jumped back on the IQ for day 1 and has snuck in the the gold fleet in 48/95…. The last place to enter the gold fleet for finals racing!
Plenty of time to climb some places for both of them! Very proud of them both!

Update from Hyeres:
We are 2/3rds of the way through our first European trip as a team, with the young .mcmillan8 and
Off the back of a cold and windy Palma, hyeres has provided us another regatta to test ourselves!
Will = 19th
Tash = 19th
Couple of highlights of the week was .mcmillan8 getting his first top 3 at an international regatta with some high level competition, TWICE!!!! The kid has some talent, look forward to seeing how we go at the Europeans!

**Sail Sydney update**
Big week of racing for the young ! I’m always proud coaching this young group, despite a week which luck didn’t seem to be on our side, they all sailed unreal and learnt a tonne! ‘s ability to go through 2 sails in 24hours, .mcmillan8 to break boom 20 minutes before the start on the first race and still make the start! And for putting her body on the line, it was very impressive to watch!
We walk away with a tonne of pride and even more knowledge gained, and 2 x silver medals.
Notable mention goes to .tuite for pushing me all the way in the 30 knot wing racing, I might need to retire from that as well soon!
Going to be a big summer of action ahead!
