Or in our case a city

Our culture is about development, a positive environment , and giving people a platform to learn and grow - on and off the court. I truly believe we do that better than anyone, and the results speak for themselves.

Winning is not the focus , it’s the result of what happens when you focus on development, accountability and building resilience and self belief in athletes.

Proud of these boys , and proud of everyone associated with our club and all of our teams who have grown so much this season. A big thanks to all of our players , coaches and parents. Without you we wouldn’t be able to do what we do. 🫶🫡

I work incredibly hard to build a culture in all of our programs , one that is based on values , a clear mission , and in standing for a message and mentality that doesn’t follow the norm.

This season saw a major shift in perceptions, narratives and putting a pin in false narratives, haters and naysayers. this season more than ever before, we have had so many people pick up the hammer and help me build ⚒️

It is my absolute passion in life to help impact young people in their pursuit to be better, and learn how to be successful.

That isn’t just about winning a game of basketball, it’s about winning in life.

Undefeated Champions 🏆

What a great game , super competitive and both teams played some really great basketball. Incredibly proud of the boys, who have worked their butts off all season, and learned to play basketball the right way.

A scary moment when JJ Cleland went down from a hard foul and fall , and had to exit the game , but he showed tremendous heart and determination to gather himself and come back into help the team make a run - that effectively ended the game. Proud of you buddy 😤🫡

Huge efforts from the entire team on the defensive end , and some huge rebounds by Bryson helped the boys get control of a close back and forth game. 21 points from Bentley Awai-Vezitis helped us have a strong 4th quarter. He has been unbelievable this season, and has so much potential. Incredible job all season young man.

Our season MVP Zion Tofilau once again hit some huge clutch 3’s , on his way to 19 points, and he showed the incredible growth he has had on the defensive end this season. Incredible season Zi 🫡😤🤙💜

Both coach Aaron and I couldn’t be more proud of you boys , you all showed up when it mattered, and played through mistakes and pressure to finish an amazing season of team basketball. Way to set the tone and once again display why our u16 program is so dominant.

30 Games v 14 🤨

Your maths ain’t mathin’ 🧮

Club basketball gives your kid 30+ games a season. Rep gives you 14, if you’re lucky, and only if you already qualify.

So when did the small season become the only one that matters?

I started Buzz City to bring value back to club basketball because too many people have lost sight of how important it actually is to a player’s mental, emotional and physical development.

Every pathway matters. Rep, club, school, they all build toward bigger goals. But if you think just showing up to log your minimum games for rep is where the value is, you don’t understand development.

Skills and confidence are built in reps, not in trials. Learning a skill is one thing. Applying it under pressure, in a real game, is what makes it worth anything, and club is where that happens, over and over, all season long.

The biggest thing standing in a player’s way isn’t talent. It’s attitude, how they handle the grind and the adversity it takes to actually reach the destination.

And a lot of that attitude gets set by how parents see the journey, and how they talk about it in the car on the way home.

It’s not what you’ve done. It’s what you can do on the day and who you’ve become by the time you get to the doorstep of opportunity.

That’s the interview. That’s what gets you the job.

Congratulations to all of the kids from our Hornets & Alpha programs who were selected for this years under 16 programs at Logan Basketball

A big shout out to hugocommonsfidge and Kingsley Pang

Both boys have worked extremely hard in the offseason and have made the jump from D4 to D2. That is not easy to do in one age group, and shows a great deal of dedication and hard work to get better 👌💜👏

Keep working hard , enjoy the opportunity and have a lot of fun along the way.
