Team Attard

Our Story

Brother and Sister, Dominic and Assunta Attard, (Team Attard), are competing in the Cadet 12 karting class in Queensland. Under the expert coaching of Shannon Price (QLD Karting state title holder) and their cousin, Morgan Haber, (Marc Cars Endurance Driver) both children have progressed rapidly through the sport. In his first year of karting in 2015 Dominic has shot to the top of the leader board and is a regular front runner in Central and Northern Queensland winning his first state title in 2016.
Dominic displayed impressive skill by winning six from eight races at a competition in Proserpine in the Whitsundays, including mixed grid starts. His dream is to follow in the footsteps of his cousin, Morgan Haber, to one day race V8 Super cars.
Assunta hopes to represent women in what is traditionally a male-dominated sport. She's not yet as fast as her little brother but she has the biggest grin out on the track while racing.
In 2018 they will compete in the Queensland State Titles in the Cadet 12 class as well as the Central Queensland Titles and a string of regional meets throughout Queensland. Their regular club racing meets will be based in Mackay and Ipswitch.
