What a huge stretch of racing! 🏊‍♀️🔥
Over the past couple of weeks our swimmers hit the water for Brisbane Junior SC Champs and Queensland SC Champs.
4 swimmers raced at Junior Champs and 8 at QLD Champs, bringing home 8 top 10 finishes between them. Huge congratulations to everyone who raced, cheered, and turned up ready to give it everything.
A massive standout: Grace, who pulled off 3 top 10 finishes and 3 personal bests at QLD Champs. Incredible work! 🌟

🌊 SC Season Update: Off to a Great Start! 🌊

Over the past few months our swimmers have hit the water at the Bracken Ridge Transition Meet, MCA Prep Meet, Redlands Prep Meet, and Brisbane Senior SC Champs, and what a start to the season it’s been! 🏊‍♀️🏊‍♂️

So many personal bests, so much effort, and so much team spirit on display. We couldn’t be prouder of how our swimmers have raced, supported each other, and kept smiling through it all.

Here’s to more PBs, more racing, and more great memories as the season continues 💪

Yesterday we went to our first targeted swim meet of the Short Course season, heading out to the Bracken Ridge Transition meet. We had 17 swimmers over the junior and session sessions with multiple swimmer at their first ever meet. There was some excellent racing with Pb’s dropping all over. Great job team!!

Last night our senior squad had the opportunity to have a workshop with our onsite dietitians to talk about fuelling their bodies properly before and after training. It was very informative and they all left with more information and some overnight oats to have for breakfast the next morning.

Australian Open Nationals kicking off today. We have the Patty, Sid and Jake racing across the next three days giving it their all! Time to put all that hard training to work, race hard and enjoy yourself! All heats and finals are being live-streamed via 9Now for those wanting to watch and support.

Congratulations to Zoe and Grace, who both competed at the QRSS Swimming Championships earlier this week. Zoe swam excellently in her 100m backstroke getting a new PB and finishing in 14th. Grace achieved top 10 finishes in all three of her races including a 4th place in the 200m Breaststroke. Looking very strong leading into Age Nationals in two weeks.
