Our merchandise has travelled all the way to Ichinoseki, where students explored Friendship Park, cruised through the breathtaking Geibi-Kei Gorge, experienced the art of traditional Washi paper making, and enjoyed a magical day at Disneyland.

Better yet, our colours sparked conversations with locals, where the Japanese public were asking and learning all about the CQ Capras.

The Central Highlands Regional Council 2026 Central Highlands Sister City Student Exchange is well underway, with the students embracing every moment in Ichinoseki, Japan. From experiencing a new culture to building lifelong friendships and proudly representing their hometown, it's a trip they'll never forget.

Before they left, we sent them on their way with some Dolphins merchandise so they could introduce Japanese students to rugby league and share a little piece of our game and community.
