We’ll be at The University of Adelaide through lunchtime tomorrow, demonstrating some 2v2 fistball and introducing the good folks to the greatest sport they’ve (probably) never heard of.
Get amongst it!

We've got some exciting news on the near horizon... but while those details are being finalised, here's our final selection of photos from last year's 2023 Australian National Championships!
These are the ones that were in portrait format, and therefore not as Instagram friendly... but great shots none the less, so let's make sure they still see the light of day on the socials!
And let's be honest - any excuse is a good excuse to see that poppin' red, blue and yellow on our newsfeeds...

Fi***ng for redemption!
After finishing winless in the preliminary rounds, the Crowfisters punched their redemption ticket with a revenge win against the new upstart fisters from the west - The Western Fisters - to finish 4th at the 2023 Australian National Fistball Championships!
More photos to come, but for now a huge congratulations to the South Aussie team - Chris Milne, Lee Morony, Jason Denholm, Anthony Denholm, Eric Maddocks, Alistair Smith and Benny Giles - for a successful outing, and a huge thanks to the organisers for an unforgettable tournament.
How do we fist? Heaps good!!

We are excited to present to you our inaugural South Australian representative fistball team!
Despite currently being spread all over this giant island, we were amazingly able to gather all seven of them in the same place at the same time for this team photo opportunity. And what a perfect day it was in sunny Adelaide, South Australia!
Even more impressive was the fact that the boys seem to have all kept themselves in incredible physical shape, truly betraying their respective ages and the immense depth of experience. Amazing stuff.
Leading the squad will be the only South Australian currently residing in his state of origin, with SAFA President Chris “Super Mario” Milne accepting the role as captain after bestowing upon himself. Joining him will be fellow ex-Fistroy Lion Eric “The Dog” Maddocks, as well as South Melbourne Green Demon veterans Lee “The Power Station” Morony and Jason “Richo” Denholm, all of whom sank many an (imperial) pint at the Exeter and Cranker together back in the early 2000s before stumbling over to The Planet nightclub, and then eventually all moving across the border to Melbourne for work.
Rounding out the squad will be Anthony “T-Bone” Denholm – the cousin of Jason, whose wife's family are South Australian pie floater enthusiasts - Alistair “Nugget” Smith – soon-to-be a nomadic resident traveller who pledges allegiance to the mighty Farmers Union Iced Coffee – and Julius “Jay-Z” Zolg – a German fistballer who recently helped the Aussies at the 2023 Men’s Fistball World Championships and who would obviously feel most at home in Hahndorf, South Australia (Australia’s most German town).
With exactly 100 combined national team appearances between them, these mighty Crowfisters will be leaning on experience, guile, and probably the young German guy as they try to fist for state glory at the 2023 Australian Fistball National Championships in Geelong on December 16.
How do we fist? We fist HEAPS GOOD!

Earlier this week, our President - Chris 'Super Mario' Milne - ran the first-ever South Australian school fistball introductory session at Mitcham Girls High School!
All up it was a great session with an impressive turnout - 11 high school students came out and gave the sport a red hot crack, some great skills on display.
A huge thank you to Ian Kutschke (Sports Coodinator) and Mike Finos (PE Educator) for facilitating this session and kick-starting the first school appearance of fistball in South Australia - hopefully the first step towards building an inter-school competition within the fine city Adelaide.
Fist on!
