We've been quiet on this page for quite some time now. We've still been working with our clients and making sure they hit their intended goals, we simply haven't posted about what we've been up to, until now...
We've made the decision to put Push Your Limits Personal Training on hold, potentially for good but we're not quite prepared to shut the door on it completely just yet. We will continue to work with our current clientele for as long as they wish to keep working with us, we just won't be taking on anyone new.
Push Your Limits Personal Training has been more than a business to us. It's been a dream, an opportunity to engage with our community, meet new people, challenge them, ourselves and achieve some amazing opportunities along the way.
Clients have become friends, close friends and even part of our family. We've celebrated birthdays, baby showers, weddings with our clients. We've been invited to radio stations; TV show launches and have worked with the most interesting people who've taught us more than we've been able to teach them!
We've been right next to our clients when they completed their first parkrun, half marathon and even an ultra! We introduced 75 people to parkrun (something that we do weekly) as part of our Adelaide based running team "Team RunningWorks). For 4-5 years we ran each team member across the line, emphasising the importance of being there for everyone, regardless of their finishing time.
We had a crack at running our own facility and fortunately ended the lease in August of 2019, dodging a bullet! Became the first Personal Trainer to work out of The ARC Campbelltown and once again left due to the Covid contact rules.
We could go on and on about all of the opportunities that we never would've thought could come from a "job". We're extremely grateful for all of the trust that you've entrusted us with and the support you've provided whenever we've offered a new service.
It's been a ride, but for now we're headed in a different direction. For anyone interested, you can still find us providing online coaching through Flexi PT but from Push Your Limits Personal Training for now, it's "see ya later"

It's been almost a year since our last post. We've still continued to work hard, watch our clients reach their goals and watched others give it their all but just fall short. It's easy to get down on yourself when all of the hard work doesn't quite come together but resilience is just another skill that you learn...even if you don't sign up for it.
As you know, we're quite passionate about mental health. So passionate in fact, we've created a clothing label based around positivity! We want those wearing our clothing to feel good about themselves and we want to leave a lasting impression for those who see it!
We're going live in less than a week and every like, follow and share helps spread the word.
We'll also aim to post more than twice a year on here as well ;)
Look strong. Feel strong.
Because when you rise, others rise with you.
Strength is contagious — share it, wear it, live it.
Jump on www.oauwear.com and subscribe to be the first to hear when we launch and take advantage of the cheapest prices that you'll ever see on our website for a limited time only!

It’s been a while but we’ve just uploaded a new YouTube video over on our sister page Flexi PT. Hop on, take a look and of course a like or follow will be greatly appreciated.
This wasn’t just another marathon—it was an experience.
We tackled the McLaren Vale Marathon, right in the heart of South Australia’s wine country, and WOW—it did not disappoint. Rolling hills, crisp morning air, and cheers from an incredible community made it unforgettable.

It's been one long year and one quick look at our social media will show that posting regular updates just simply hasn't happened in 2024.
Business coaches have suggested 3 posts a day, others 3 times a week however this year has been focussed on quality within the business rather than promoting for the purpose of building it.
2025 is looking like it's going to be another big year, we've been working on gaining more certifications that are specific to the direction in which we are headed. With any luck the first of these will be in early to mid January and will be the biggest change that we've made since starting the business.
We just wanted you to know that we are still active and working harder than ever. We go on leave December 24th and we're already excited about starting early in 2025.
Have a fantastic Sunday afternoon and try to stay cool during this mini heatwave

One of our clients just hit a major milestone!! Nope not the big 5 0 but Kim just completed her 200th parkrun on weekend and she did it pushing 50kg up and down the hills of Gawler parkrun. We think that deserves a round of applause 👏
We’re extremely appreciative of all your hard work, taking care of our kids and always looking to help lighten our work load.
Congratulations Kim and here’s to another 200 👌🏻

Come rain, hail or shine you’ll find us at….. yep, you all know what we get up to on Saturday mornings. This time we headed out to Williamstown to complete the South Para Reservoir parkrun.
Walking out the front door our phones told us that it felt like -5 and it was hard to disagree.
A big thanks to Kim as she was nice enough to push Abbey in the pram so that Sharmaine could give the course a go.
With 3 prams between the 6 of us adults we were all in agreement that the course would’ve been much easier if it weren’t for all of the hills 😅
Thanks once again to the team of volunteers who braved the cold and on again off again showers to deliver a great parkrun experience!

No pics from this weekends but as part of our Flexi PT YouTube channel we share our parkrun journey, one that has taken us all over the state. Over the last eight years our goals have constantly changed between personal goals, building a team environment, clients goals, getting the family involved, becoming a statesman and finally focussing back on ourselves.

Today we finished up a big weekend of racquetball at the SA Racquetball Open, our 14th in a row.
We had a tough day of singles yesterday culminating in a title and teaming up with regular partner Lucas we took out the doubles this afternoon.
A big congratulations to Matthew Costello on running a great event on his first attempt. Looking forward to seeing him build on it for next years event.
Thanks to Salming Squash Australia for their continued support from squash to running to racquetball and now pickleball. Your support is hugely appreciated!
Already keen for next year’s event!

We had a huge morning Saturday just gone! Yes, we did parkrun, yes it was still 5km and no we didn't venture too far but this week our eldest daughter wanted to have another go at completing the distance. Abbey had completed 3-4 with the guidance of Mum or Dad encouraging her not to hop in the pram but this time it was no issue!
Abbey ended up knocking a total of 6min off her previous best time and sprinted over the line in a time of 54:54 (easy to remember) and barely out of breath she ran straight over to the playground.
Unfortunately we didn't get a picture of her on the course but boy are we proud of her determination!

We've been working hard behind the scenes working on building our new online business, flexiPT. We're currently 50% online and 50% face to face so it's an exciting time for both businesses.
We've also created a youtube channel to talk all things fitness, physical/ mental health and answer some specific questions that we hear on a regular basis.
The below video is a discussion about our battles with mental health growing up and how it affects us to this day.
