Week 1 of our Junior Cricket program was made even more memorable with a special visit from members of the Australian Masters Indoor Cricket team.

With the team preparing to represent Australia at the Trans-Tasman Series in New Zealand this September, our juniors had the opportunity to hear firsthand about what it takes to compete at the highest level. The players shared valuable advice on the importance of hard work, spoke about the cricketers who inspired them growing up, and passed on tips to help improve technique and confidence.

To top it off, the Australian players joined in our training session, working alongside the kids through a range of drills and helping make the afternoon one to remember.

A special mention goes to Australian Over 40s Captain Josh Guy. A proud Viper at heart, Josh began his indoor cricket journey on the very same court our juniors trained on—at just 9 years of age. His journey to captaining Australia is a fantastic example of where dedication, perseverance and a love of the game can take you, and an inspiration for every young player in our program.

We were lucky enough to welcome Australian Open Ladies World Cup-winning Captain and Queensland Open Ladies Captain, Meagan Dixon, who spent time sharing her experience, advice and passion for the game with our young cricketers. Moments like these inspire the next generation and create memories they'll never forget. 💙
