I’m lucky enough to be able to have the knowledge and skills to ride my own track work!

This means I’m getting first hand feedback on every horse, how they feel, how they’re progressing and what they need in their training.

For owners, there’s reassurance in knowing that when I give you an update, it’s coming directly from me and not second hand through a work rider.

I’m also lucky to have our stable jockey Josh Richards come in to do gallops together to get a feel of the horses he’ll be riding race day, another reassurance for owners that their jockey also knows how their horses are going heading into each race 🐎

It’s a team effort with Josh, myself and Kirsty along with josh’s parents who look after the kids and allow me to train the horses on their property!
Would be lost without my little village.

Aerolite Star is a 4 year old Winning Rupert filly out of a winning O’reilly mare.

The mare has had just the 2 foals, 1 to race with 2 wins and 3 placings so far in his career.

She’s unraced but well educated having had time to grow and mature during the few preparations she has had.

She’s now had a spell and ready to return to work for her first racing preparation.

Dropped into Danric Lodge at Sutton Forest to check on Divine Spark during her pre training.

Fantastic facilities, including a 1200m grass and sand track, stables, day yards, walker, all the bells and whistles for race horses to get that that early prep fitness.
Along with some rich history with champion race horses coming through the property such as Snitzel and exceed and excel.

Looking forward to getting Spark back to the stables to tick that maiden win off 💪🐎

With the 2025/26 MTC racing season now complete, the Wagga based premierships have been decided.

The local titles were hotly contested across the 26 race meetings and the MTC congratulates all of the winners of the following categories:
