$5700 with KA100 motor (total of 12 hours from brand new), maintained by AN Racing and had the Newcastle lap record of 49.37 before it was broken at AKC Round 5 (49.24)

After being home from school sick all week we almost didn’t make it to the race meet this weekend, but we did and I had a little run today at Newcastle.

After killer pace yesterday in practice the winds hit today gusting at 60kmh and we struggled with a lack of grip all day. Fought hard to take P1 in Quali, and Heat 1, 2, & 3 but was like driving on ice in the Final and I finished P2. Well done to Logan on the win and Christian in 3rd.

That’s us done for the year, we will regroup and make some decisions about 2023 soon!

I had a race today after a couple of months out of the kart since the AKC. Totally unfit and zero practice until this morning I knew I wouldn’t be on the pace so I’m happy to take 2nd and I did get quicker as the day went on. Congrats to Logan on the win and Christian in 3rd. Parolin podium lockout.

Now to find somewhere to curl up and pass out.

This is what racing is about. Me and my dad at the track taking on the world!

Today we didn’t get the result we were looking for but I raced hard and worked hard all weekend.

In Heat 4 I led the race for a lap before being sent off track and hustled back in the field to finish P11.

Off P5 for the Final and I made my way up to 3rd for a few laps on two separate occasions but didn’t have the previous pace and finished up in P6 overall.

Reasonably happy with the overall result as we didn’t have the preparation and we didn’t think we would be amongst it at all.

Thanks to the amazing support of my family who came to watch me race, and those that continue to push me to do my best on the track.



Congratulations to taking the KA3 title, taking the TAG title and my good mate taking 3rd in the cadet 12 championship.

Eyes forward today as we go into Finals day of the Australian Kart Championship.
