🎭 SAMARA McCULLUM | SPIRIT OF THE ENSEMBLE

On the netball court, you’ll find Samara running the midcourt for our Kōka Black U15s bringing her energy, work rate and commitment to every game. 🏐🖤

But there’s so much more Behind the Bib.

Last week, Samara stepped away from the court and onto the stage as part of Werribee Secondary College’s production of Shrek The Musical JR. 🎭✨

And what an achievement to take home.

Samara was awarded the Spirit of the Ensemble Award, an award selected by the main cast themselves, recognising an ensemble member who demonstrated outstanding enthusiasm, energy and stage presence throughout the production.

The award celebrates someone who consistently brought something special to every performance and helped elevate the scenes they were part of.

And that person was Samara. 🥹👏🏽

From the midcourt to the stage, Samara continues to show us that our people are so much more than what we see when they pull on the bib.

There are talents we don’t always get to see.
There are passions beyond the game.
There are stages waiting to be stepped onto.
And there are achievements worth celebrating. 💜
