Whyalla has always been a town built on resilience, hard work and looking after one another.

With the blast furnace shutting down, we know many local families are facing uncertainty. To everyone affected, whether that be our players, members, volunteers, supporters and the wider Whyalla community... we're thinking of you.

Weeroona Bay has always been more than a football club. We're a community, and communities stick together when times get tough.

We'll get through this the same way Whyalla always has: together.
Our thoughts are with every worker, every family and every local business feeling the impact.

Not the result we wanted, but the scoreboard is no reflection of the effort, fight and growth this team showed last night. 🐯

From the first siren to the last, our girls kept showing up for each other, kept competing and kept pushing. There is plenty to take away from our first hit-out of the season, and even more to build on.
