RESPECT !!!!!!!

Thank you to everyone who entered and supported the 2026 QLD titles.

Not only was there some awesome racing and great fun the grounds and facilities were left in good conditions with no rubbish etc around our area. This means a lot and shows just how good the hobby is right now and the people involved.

Special mention to Sarah and Kirty for keeping us all fed and hydrated with drinks in the diner , thank you ladies šŸ„°

From the executive committee of Pit Pass would personally like to thank all our members and visiting drivers from other club along with our awesome sponsors and supporters for contributing and continuing to support the club as we grow each year.

Report 1. 2026 QLD title event we decided to include everyone and ran a sportsman showdown for dirt mod drivers wanting to be apart of a blue ribbon event and not be apart of the main title event as the drivers felt there were not at that level which is totally fine we all have different levels of a blue ribbon event.

Gasā€™s Garage jumped straight onboard and wanted to support the drivers in this event for the sportsman drivers.

7 drivers signed in for Saturday and 6 drivers returned on Sunday to complete there 8 rounds of racing with all races to count towards a overall points score to see who walked away with Gaz Garage dirt modified sportsman showdown.

All drivers holding there own and enjoying racing on the bigger stage then just a club meeting and a credit to you all for making 8 rounds of racing and having fun and enjoying your event and being apart of it.

Final results for Gazā€™s Garage dirt modified sportsman showdown

1st overall Stephen
2nd overall Tim
3rd overall Ben

Once again thank you all for being apart of the event and having some great races and fun over two days on the blue ribbon event stage.

Please note late model results are correct , just a human error on timing system mid race lost the times etc but all is correct with finishing positions, once again apologies to all drivers on that mistake.

Some awesome racing both days and really look forward to heading to Bundy next year in September šŸ¤ŸšŸ¤ŸšŸ

Wow Saturday in the books what a great day and display of driving from all competitors, with the most green to checkers racing I have ever seen in a major event.

You know itā€™s good when dirt modified drivers come up at end of day and say wow I had 1 yellow in the 4 heats I ran , others had no yellows at all during heat racing just awesome.

Well done everyone full reports next week here are results pictures as we head into day two
