A bit of downtime in Sydney for a couple of days with my family, Great little break before we get back into a busy schedule of Racing 🤘

Fantastic race weekend at Maryborough Speedway for the 24/25 LS/360 Queensland Title. Had a great time trial posting 12th place which game me good draws.
Time Trial 12th
First heat 3rd - 5th
Second heat 2nd - 1st
Feature started 10th finished 10th.
Had a fast car all night getting up to 5th unfortunately my tyres sealed over around lap 15 in the feature which slowed me down and I had to run the bottom just to control the car to the finish.

N.S.W LS/360 State title recap:

Went in to this event hoping to come away with a solid performance and get some much needed time behind to wheel at a blue ribbon event.
Had a steering rod come off literally 10 seconds before my hot lap group, thanks to my crew they got the car repaired and I was given one lap only at the end to put a lap down.
12.894 with gave me the overall QuickTime🤘
Unfortunately I was only able to qualify 15th due to the rules. I don’t really care we all know I was QuickTime and I’m happy with that.
First Heat : 6th to 4th
Second Heat 2nd to ??? I spun on the last corner.
Feature sixteenth to DNF.
I decided to retire the car after a spin due to my engine temp getting too high, too many restarts and slower cars blocking.
I had some good highs and lows as usual this happens in sprint car racing…
Onto the next race in Toowoomba at the end of the month hopefully I can start to put it together and get a result.

So we decided to pull our heads off for a bit of maintenance and luckily found a little bit of wear in the cylinders. We have decided pull the entire engine down for a refresh and hopefully have it back on track for the Kingaroy round in February.
