We continue our regular training through the first week of the school holidays.

Wow, what a night!

To wrap up our Term 3 gradings, we had two high-intensity and quality grading sessions for our Pee-Wees and Teens & Adults groups.

For many of our students, this was their very first grading, and they all showed a fantastic attitude, enthusiasm and determination throughout. We are extremely proud to announce a 100% pass rate!

A special shout-out to our Teen student Ethan, who completed his grading all on his own. He was pushed right through to the end and showed us exactly what that Never Give Up mentality is all about.

We also want to recognise Nell, one of our newer Pee-Wee students, who has only recently joined the club but still came along and trained to support the students completing their grading. What a great attitude to have!

Congratulations to all of our students who graded. Your hard work and commitment continue to show, and we look forward to keeping the momentum going through our school holiday training!

Grasshoppers: 5:00–5:25pm
Pee-Wee Grading Tests: 5:30–6:15pm
Teens & Adults Grading Tests: 6:15–7:15pm
Teens & Adults Regular Class: 7:15–8:15pm

Brown Belt Grading Success

Last Thursday, two of our students stepped up for our first gradings of the end-of-term grading period, taking on the challenge of Brown Belt.

We are very proud to announce that both students were successful in what was a gruelling grading that tested them both physically and mentally.

A huge congratulations to both of them. The standard they displayed throughout their grading was exceptional, and they should be very proud of the hard work, commitment and perseverance that has brought them to this point.

With more gradings taking place this week, the hard work continues as we build towards the Asian Pacific Gasshuku, now less than two months away.

Our inter-dojo annual board breaking fundraising event will take place from September 7-12, 2026. Any of our students are welcome to participate. Pre-booking is required and sign closes Aug 27 at 11:59pm. All funds raised will go towards supporting the hosting costs of the IOGKF Asian Pacific Gasshuku in November 2026.

2026 IOGKF ASIAN PACIFIC GASSHUKU UPDATE!
Early bird registration has now closed and we are overwhelmed by the support this event has received with a whopping 430 registrations already received! This event already has:
* Participants from 6 continents
* 20 IOGKF member country organisations attending
* Smashed the previous AOGKF National record of 300 set in 2023
* Has well and truly surpassed all previous APG records
We cannot say thank you enough for all of those who have got onboard and supported Nakamura Sensei, IOGKF, AOGKF and the triumpant return of the IOGKF Asian Pacific Gasshuku!
