Congratulations to Alex Bleakey on being awarded Life Membership #19 at Palmerston Cricket Club.

Alex's journey with PCC began as a junior in 2000, and over more than two decades he has made a significant contribution to the club. During that time, he has played 247 games for Palmerston, including 208 A Grade matches since making his A Grade debut in 2008. He has been a member of four premiership-winning teams and is the club's leading A Grade run scorer.

Off the field, Alex's impact has been just as significant. He served on the PCC Committee from 2016 to 2024 as both a general committee member and Players Representative, he has played a key role in pitch preparation and maintenance and was Joint Club Coach from 2020 to 2022. Alex also captained the A Grade side from 2016 to 2018 and again from 2020 to 2022, helping lead and mentor players across the club.

This Life Membership is a fitting recognition of Alex's dedication, leadership, and contribution to Palmerston Cricket Club over many years.

Congratulations, Alex. 👏

B Grade Grand Final ⚡️ ❤️‍🩹

While we didn't come away with the flag, there's still plenty to be proud of. Finishing the season as Minor Premiers and making it all the way to the Grand Final reflects the effort put in by the group across the season.

A standout performance in the Grand Final came from Kai Snape, who claimed 5/79 from 30 overs in a tireless spell with the ball.

Congratulations to everyone involved on a successful season. Hold your heads high, B Grade. 👏

2026 A Grade Premiers ⚡️🏆

What a way to finish the season.

A huge congratulations to our A Grade boys on bringing home the 2026 A Grade Premiership after an incredible season. A well-earned reward for all the hard work and effort that’s gone into this year.

Some outstanding performances in the Grand Final, Cadell McMahon with a maiden A Grade century, finishing 100* off 137 balls. Devan Vishvaka with a brilliant 106 off 151 balls. Alex Bleakley played an important innings with 44 off 109 balls. Hamish Martin led the way with the ball, finishing with 4/77 from 24.1 overs.

A premiership built on a full season’s work and finished off in the best way possible.

Go Palmy. ⚡️
