Keppel Bay Sportfishing Club

There are usually 12 outings a year weather permitting that count towards club points where you can receive various trophies at the end of the year, or, you can just participate socially if competitions are not for you. Club outing comps starts on Friday midnight and finishes with a weigh in at 4 pm Sunday. Preceding the outings on the Friday evening there is usually a BBQ at either a public place or a club members place. We also do an occasional family get away weekend to GKI (Great Keppel Island), 1770, Stanage, Dawson/Isaac River etc.. Club members are encouraged to participate in our local environmental sustainability projects like, Clean up Australia, Grass seed planting, local council introduction to fishing programs. We require that anyone who participates in club, social and community activities (e.g. A Family Membership includes nominated partners and children at the same address for $93/yr
A Single Senior membership for $60/yr
A Junior < 16 years membership for $10/yr
We also offer half year memberships at half the above prices

As a member of KBSFC you become a member of the Queensland Branch of Australian National Sportfisher Association ( https://www.ansaqld.com.au/ ) and have access to comps, tagging, monitoring, events. awards and capture recordings provided by ANSAQ.
