Great news for swimmers who want to head down to Emu Park earlier to get a swim in! 🤩

NEW PUBLIC OPENING HOURS!

Starting next Wednesday 29th January, we will be opening earlier to the public from 5am on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. This is part of a trial to help ease congestion and improve the experience for both public swimmers and our Squads participants 🐳

We may be currently closed, however that hasn’t stopped our Yeppoon Sharks swimmers who are currently training at Emu Park Aquatic Centre Squads while the upgrades are happening 🤩

Nick, Sam & Jayden are with Jaz and Head Coach Fiona down at QLD State Championships in Brisbane. We are immensely proud of all of you, just keep swimming! 🤩

We are super proud of our EPAC Squad Representatives currently competing at the QLD State Championships in Brisbane!

Jazlyn, Sam, Nick and Jayden have all been smashing their individual races. Their hard work and dedication are truly paying off.

So far, Jaz made the 200m Butterfly final and placed 5th, Jayden has qualified for Nationals in the 100m Free, and Sam and Nick have been achieving incredible PBs! These are massive achievements - congratulations 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽

A massive thank you to Head Coach Fiona, who has been on pool deck every step of the way, supporting and guiding our swimmers to achieve their best!

🚧🏊‍♂️ Exciting progress at Yeppoon Aquatic Centre! Adam Belot - Livingstone Shire Mayor is on-site to share the latest update as demolition kicks off, paving the way for the incredible facility upgrades ahead! Features of the upgrade include: 🏊‍♀️ A new 50m pool and amenities block 🌤️ Extended shade over the pool 🔥 Pool heating and thermal covers 🔀 Submersible swim wall ♿ All-ability access to the complex and the pool 🌱 New welcoming entrance and landscaping This project is scheduled for completion by December 2025.
