🏸 ARUBA BADMINTON TRAINING CAMP 2026! 🇦🇼
What an amazing 9 days of badminton! 💪🏸
From August 1–9, the Aruba Badminton Federation hosted an intensive Training Camp at Centro Deportivo Playa, led by Coach Gilmar Jones, National Team Coach of Suriname.

🏸 Beginners & Advanced
💪 3 training sessions per day!
Every morning our advanced players started with an intensive training session. In the afternoon, our beginners took over the courts to work on their fundamentals and development. And in the evening, the advanced players were back for their second session of the day!
The camp was also specifically organized as final preparation for four of our U15 juniors who travelled shortly afterwards to Santo Domingo to compete at the New Horizons Academy Junior International 2026. 🇦🇼✈️🇩🇴
Throughout the camp, Coach Gilmar worked on footwork, technique, clears, drops, smashes, net play, defense, tactical situations, doubles rotation, decision-making and match preparation.
