Support for employer-driven training in Barbados

The Competency-Based Training Fund (CBTF) is a government of Barbados project unit which aims to support a better alignment of job training with market demand in Barbados. The fund will distribute US$ 6.5 million over a three year period on a competitive basis to partnerships formed between employers and training providers. The partnerships will be awarded funding based on proposals to implement 2-year competency-based training programs leading to certification.
