Aikido - A Non-Violent Martial Art

Planning on heading to Chittagong, Bangladesh at the end of August to teach Rohingya refugee children Aikido, a non-violent martial art that has long been the basis for control tactics taught to law-enforcement agencies world wide. I plan to remain there for one month, perhaps longer.

Médecins San Frontières (MSF) / Doctors Without Borders Annual Benefit / Self-Defense Training (4 hour) will again be held the day before Mother's Day, May 12th. It will include non-physical and physical control tactics. In honor of the 17 victims of the Parkland, Florida school shooting, this year I have added long gun disarming to the previously taught disarming tactics that will be practiced. Last year we raised $1010.00 for this very worthy organization that is typically the first to arrive when devastation hits anywhere in the world.
