The president for the community of Madrid announced that Lionel Messi donated €𝟖𝟎,𝟎𝟎𝟎 for the reconstruction of the Sierra Oeste region after a forest fire burned around 30,000 hectares, as per the Europe Press.

In addition to this, Messi has contributed to:

• Donations to the Red Cross for this summer’s wildfires in other parts of Spain.

• Aid for the Valencia DANA floods.

• Donations to various projects in Argentina, including €500,000 to the Garrahan Foundation, plus many other contributions to children with cancer and Argentine hospitals through his foundation.

• Before that, aid for the Venezuela earthquakes, in which Antonela was also very involved.
