Bangladesh’s pride Lubaba shines at the Ma’anshan Open International Taekwondo Championship, China 🇨🇳🇧🇩 — winning Silver in both Black Belt Individual & Mixed Doubles Poomsae, and leading her club to an incredible 15 medals. So proud of her unstoppable journey.

Banani Taekwondo Club has brought pride to Bangladesh by securing an impressive 15 medals at two prestigious international competitions—the 2025 Asia Taekwondo Invitational Tournament and the 10th Ma’anshan Taekwondo Open, held at the Ma’anshan Olympic Sports Center Gymnasium in China from December 31, 2025, to January 3, 2026.

Representing Bangladesh on the international stage, a delegation of 11 athletes from Banani Taekwondo Club competed against participants from several Asian countries. The team showcased strong technical skills, discipline, and competitive resilience across multiple events.

The overall medal tally included 3 gold, 4 silver, and 8 bronze medals. In Single Poomsae, the junior category earned 1 silver and 4 bronze medals, while the senior black belt category saw Nooruddin Husain win gold and Lubaba Binte Amjad secure silver. In Pair Poomsae, athletes won 2 bronze medals in the junior category and 1 silver medal in the senior black belt division.

The club also excelled in the Speed Kick Event, winning 2 gold and 2 bronze medals.

These achievements highlight Bangladesh’s growing presence in international taekwondo and reflect the dedication of the athletes, coaches, and support staff of Banani Taekwondo Club. Based in Dhaka, the club continues to play a vital role in developing competitive taekwondo talent and representing the nation with distinction on global platforms.
