This is not a unique line-up. I think we all saw that coming. The last time Varane and Militรฃo played together, we didn't win. Let's hope that doesn't repeat. Vasquez has been in off-form over the previous three matches, and we have no choice. Ordiozola didn't play well in the Copa Del Rey match. Asensio is doing well. And lastly, the holy trinity mid! If our defense doesn't make any mistake today, we will win. I believe that.

He is our youth player who plays at the left-back. He has been terrific so far. Do you guys remember the UEFA Youth League campaign which our kids won? He played ten games and scored four goals. He scored in Quarter-final, Semi-final, and the final and became the top scorer of that campaign. He scored against Galatasaray, Inter Milรกn, Salzburg, and Benefica. These matches should tell you that he has been a big game player so far. Unfortunately, he was on the sideline for more than two months because of injury, and now he's back with the Castilla squad for the clash against Getafe B. He has fully recovered.
According to Marca, Real Madrid is in no position to buy the academic Spaniard from Tottenham at the moment, and they also know that Marcelo will leave soon. They are hoping that Miguel will give a tough time to Mendy for the spot in the first team. Mendy has been alright defensively, and he was one of the best players of last season, but that doesn't tell you the entire story. Mendy has been offensively low, and the team is worried about his technical side. The future is uncertain, but hopefully, we can see our academic product in the first team.

The Madrid periphery is already very tensed and tangled regarding the รdegaard issue
Provided รdegaard's move to North London becomes a success, Madrid management will be bombarded with questions
Already Jovic's performances are bamboozling with queries on pre-match conferences
This is certainly an area to address, combat and mitigate
Player management on their parent club has be more fine-tuned, specific and optimal

The infamous Three-peat was influenced by the sublime displays of Modric, Kroos and Casemiro
While Modric displayed celestial Sustainability in his play till November, He was been average for December and most parts of January
Kroos also has been on and off having to possess a Deeper role than he would have preferred otherwise
Casemiro has been below par this season
The DM with the most recoveries on the past season, being one the pillars of league triumph, has been delivering poor displays since the start of this season
Be it for a lack of competition on the starting XI or a lack of motivation and hunger or maybe it is the typical Brazilian post 30's reluctances
The old guards have contributed enough and now they have to be rested and rotated quite often than not. To make sure, they are not overused or exhausted The rotations will be a major performance booster and will bring the much opted stability(likewise Zidane had done with Cristiano)

๐นRamos, Carvajal, Velvarde are already out of the team
๐นNacho is out for covid
Thus, the defense is already weakened and the midfield has never been such vulnerable with only 5 players(Apart from the old guards, only Isco and Blanco is available)
Overall, this is a very turbulent period for the club and surroundings
The latest news of Zidane's Covid only adds to the list of underlying sufferings

Expected line-up: Courtois, Vazquez, Varane, Chust, Mendy, Casemiro, Kroos, Modric, Hazard, Benzema, Asensio
With the already weakened defenses, Madrid is more likely to play from behind, through a gradual build-up and opt for their crosses to reach Benzema on the Box
The crosses most likely will arive from the right wing as Mendy-Hazard duo, on the left, hasnโt quite fused yet and Mendy's crossing abilities are sub-par
Overall, the fans should expect yet another boring display but the results should be in favour of Madrid
๐Predicted XI: Pacheco; Navarro, Laguardia, Lejeune, Duarte; Mendez, Battaglia, Pina, Rioja; Joselu, Perez
The Basque side, on the other hand has only managed 18 points from their 19 games on this season
After the dismissal of Pablo Machin, Abelardo Fernandez has returned to captain a sinking vessel
๐นWith his classical 4-4-2, Abelardo loves the opponent to come at their half and instantly their players starts pressing
๐นTheir wingers press the wingbacks and wins balls easily on those sections
๐นTheir defenders are decent while defending aerial threats on the Boxes
๐นThey are likely to build-up through long balls at the wings and going for crosses onto the D-box
After only 1 win from last 6 matches and with the new coach on the batton, an exciting tactical display along with refurbished zeal and fervour is expected from the players

Dark days aren't going away now. Zidane has tested positive for the Covid test. Get well soon, Zizu, and I hope that the team is well.
It's hard to analyze after what the team went through last night and what it has been going through. And the worst part is, the fans are divided into two groups. Let me tell you where I stand personally. (I don't know about other admins here, though) Zidane has faults, no doubt, but other players and management have flaws too, and Zidane is the only one taking the blame alone. In this messy situation, sacking Zidane won't be the right thing. If someone can fix this situation, I believe he will. And if the problem doesn't change, then he can leave. I am giving some slacks to him because he gave the ultimate glory of modern football, which may not be repeated by anyone ever again.
Be patient

Ramos has an equal W/L ratio(60%) whenever he plays
He has had 3 knocks in the past 4 months
At this moment, the club doesn't want to risk him in less important fixtures
Well, we need a realistic and pragmatic approach to this problem and In My Opinion,
๐ก๐ฎ๐ฐ๐ต๐ผ is the most suitable option
Nacho has already played over 800 minutes this season
Got 4 clean sheets under his belt in all competitions describes how impactful his performance has been on this season(when Varane has underperformed mostly and the right wing has mostly been a makeshift one)
The most Attractive trait of Nacho is that He is a ball playing CB. His 91% passing accuracy is just icing on the cake
To add to that, Nacho's 2.2 tackles, 1.4 Interceptions and 1.7 Aerials won per game sums up his overall abilities in a decent manner
Apart from these Statistical gysts, We all remember how heroically Nacho performed against ๐๐ป๐๐ฒ๐ฟ ๐ ๐ถ๐น๐ฎ๐ป and ๐๐ฒ๐น๐๐ฎ ๐ฉ๐ถ๐ด๐ผ
On the other hand, Militรฃo has barely played under 200 minutes which is a small sample size to judge him
Little reliance shown by the Gaffer and lack of minutes has made him rusty which would require quite an effort to shed off
Overall, ๐ก๐ฎ๐ฐ๐ต๐ผ is more reliable for our defensive stability than Militรฃo because of his minutes, experiences, stats and performances
Not only does Nacho skims through ๐๐จ๐ฆ๐๐ง ๐๐๐ซ๐จ๐ข๐๐ฌ on the pages of History,
He lives it

I think there's nothing more to say about the match against the Osasuna. It just another typical match where Real Madrid struggled against a low-block defensive team. They couldn't create many chances in the match, and in the end, they drew. The weather and the LaLiga board's mismanagement played a part, but still, those are not excuses. Things became too complicated after this match. Many sports outlets were talking about why the youths, especially รdegaard wasn't getting chances. Things got way too complicated after Joviฤ rejoined Eintracht Frankfurt on loan for six months. Now here's the interesting fact. In the pre-conference before the Spanish Supercup semi-final, Zidane exclusively said that he did not know anything about the loan deal. I know many of you are thinking about why he is not getting any game time under Zidane and criticizing him. I personally think it is impossible to bench Benzema, who is literally the top scorer and assist provider for more than two straight seasons. That being said, he should have gotten few last minutes of several matches. Now, let us come to the main part. Why did not Zidane know about this loan deal? This proves one thing: Zidane does not have control of the transfers or any loan deal. Since his second tenure, he was assured that he would get control of transfer and everything, but he did not get the players he wanted even after winning the league. So, in this Jovic situation, you cannot blame Zidane. I believe he is a great player, and if he can get minutes there, he will develop more and come back stronger. รdegaard's situation is exceptional. I know it is difficult to break into the holy trinity of Kroos, Modric, and Casemiro, but I think he should have gotten some time as Modric is playing consecutive matches. At least, he could come at the second half ahead of Isco, but we did not see him much, and Zidane did not clarify it because of his injury either. Now let's talk about the Spanish Supercup semi-final.
Did you guys remember how we won six consecutive matches at the end of December? Yes, we won those matches, and there was almost the same XI that Zidane was using. The old guards requested Zidane not to change much of the lineup, and it paid off that time, but we all were hoping he would experiment something and give some players a chance in this domestic cup match. Remember how he used five-person midfielders in the last year's Spanish Supercup semi-final against Valencia? I thought he would change something, but he didn't. It was almost the same eleven who had been playing for nine matches in a row. I had a feeling that Raul Garcia would punish us, and unfortunately, he did with his two goals. The first half was difficult for us. Athletic Club was pressing high a few times, and also they did not let our attacking players breathe much in their defensive area. The front three was not much effective in the first half. Asensio couldn't find his rhythm much, and Hazard couldn't take one on one and also, he missed a pretty solid chance. It is normal for a player who came from a long-term injury but still, it was far from the Hazard we saw in Chelsea. Hazard was given the free role too, and sometimes he came in the middle, but it just wasn't his day due to Athletic's high pressing and great positioning. Benzema had to drop back to create momentum because our holy trinity was having a bad day. It was a poor display from Toni Kroos, which doesn't happen at all. He had 87 percent pass completion, which is very low for a player of his caliber. He and Modric looked tired. At the end of the first half, Athletic Club almost scored the third goal, but they did not. Inaki Williams only had to deceive Courtois, but our wall stopped him on one vs. one. Courtois, in the second half, saved us from an embarrassing situation. Varane had a somewhat average game, and he was also responsible for the first goal that we conceded. He did not man-mark, and later we paid the price. Well, Lucas had a terrible game. The two goals were due to his poor body positioning and vision. In the second half, Nacho replaced Varane. He was not looking physically well. In the second half, we were creating a lot of chances. Hazard still was not getting his rhythm, but I would say Asensio was the best player in this match. He was becoming a threat against the opponent and had four shots. Those shots were magnificent, and two of them almost went to the bar. Unfortunately, one hit the post, and another hit the crossbar. The game was looking good for us when Zidane changed Hazard and Modric with Vinicius and Valverde. They were trying to create chances, and in the end, we got a goal thanks to Fede and the assist from Casemiro. Benzema scored a goal, but later, he missed another solid chance to score thanks to offside. This has been bothering me lately to see Benzema cannot position himself well to avoid the offside. It has been quite some time. In the end, he was substituted, and Mariano came in, but it did not matter much. We got six minutes extra, and we could not utilize it. Mendy had a great opportunity at the dying minute, but he should have left it for Kroos. He has been struggling offensively since last season. There was a call for a penalty in the end, but it didn't rule as a penalty after the VAR call. It was a predictable match with a predictable 4-3-3 formation.
There were some afterthoughts of the match and what may happen in the coming weeks.
1. ๐๐ช๐๐๐จ ๐๐๐จ๐ฆ๐ช๐๐ฏ ๐๐จ ๐๐ง๐๐๐ฉ ๐๐ช๐ฉ ๐ฃ๐ค๐ฉ ๐ ๐๐๐๐๐ฉ-๐ฝ๐๐๐ : I know he had some good games as a right-back when both of our first and second choice Right-Backs were out, but in the end, he cannot automatically become a full-back. He is a natural winger. He cannot be our second choice right-back. It should be Odriozola.
Apart from Varane, Ramos looked tired and clumsy. It was visible, and I think he should have played this club game with tiredness. Then again, there was no medical report, so I cannot say much here. However, multiple sources said about it.
It was a chaotic week for Real Madrid. They straight went to play this semi-final after the match against Osasuna. So, there's a possibility that the team was tired. I mean, it was kind of visible. One good thing I can say is right now that they are getting a good break, which would be helpful for the upcoming matches.
It will be hard for Militao and Odriozola to get time as Carvajal, Ramos, and Varane are in the commanding place, but the Norwegian should get more minutes from now on. Zidane promised him that he would get the time, and I believe he will. He was also seen warmed-down after the match. This tells you how the boy is eager to get time.
Asensio is naturally a Left-Back. He shows potential in the matches, and I think he should start from his position, and Hazard should get a free role from the middle.
I don't have much to say now. I try to be optimistic, and I believe Zidane will fix things and give us a great season despite the board issue. You all need to back your manager and the players and be patient.

Luka Jovic went to Eintracht Frankfurt on loan for rest of the season with no buy-back option. Good luck Jovic!
Luka Jovic, our Serbian striker celebrates his 23rd Birthday today and will be looking forward to getting some minutes as Real Madrid faces Granada later this evening.
He was brought on at Madrid by Zinedine Zidane after his breakthrough season at Eintracht Frankfurt in 2018/19 when he scored 29 goals and provided 6 assists in all competitions.
But since then, his Madrid career has been in decline and barely getting enough minutes to prove himself. He has been fighting for the lone striker position with Karim Benzema who is in scintillating form and awarded the Best Player of the Season for the league-winning performance last season. His off the field activities has also caused an embarrassing situation for Real Madrid and he had been in the headlines a couple of times during the pandemic situation for breaking covid protocol. This season when he returned to form by scoring 3 goals and an assist for Serbia in the International break and looked to get back into the playing eleven with Madrid as Benzema was injured, he was Covid positive for the second time and Mariano Diaz, the third-choice striker took the chance.
Now, Luka Jovic has appointed a psychiatrist and a personal trainer to help him improve his fitness and mental being, and news outlets from Madrid are suggesting that there is a change in him and he is getting involved with the squad more than before. He is working hard to be the icon that Real Madrid brought him to be. We Madridistas, should be patient with him and give him the time to shine. Let us wish that this Birthday will usher a new Jovic among us and bring an end to his demoralizing goal drought at Madrid.

Today, Rodrygo Goes, our second Brazilian young sensation bought after Vinicius, turns 20.
Having scored โ Goals and assisting in another โ goals, Rodrygo is currently having a goal contribution in every 124 minutes which is really promising for the front line of Real Madrid.
We pray that his sustained injury will soon be recovered and he will be back to provide more depth to our squad and be more lethal in the attacking third.
