"He has done an incredible job in getting the team to where we are today and I hope that I can learn from him and still reach out to him for his guidance on leading the team to success.

"We are looking forward to the 2023 AFCON where we can showcase ourselves on the highest platform in Africa.

"So the ultimate goal is to qualify for back-to-back tournaments and to go there and get out of the group stage and show the nation and the world what we are about.

"I believe the nation already knows what we are about, they've supported us for a long time and we hope to reward them with success.”

"We also have the Olympic Games qualifiers to look forward to this summer as well with our slightly younger team,” he continued.

"I want to be a part of all of these, be part of the building process of football in Sierra Leone, so it's not just about the senior national team.

Report: Bayern Munich are eyeing a transfer move for Sierra Leonean youngster Moses Turay

The German outfit want to lure Moses Turay to their side as they believe the Sierra Leonean striker would be integrated into their B team.

According to Foot Mercato, Bayern Munich, Manchester City, Borussia Mönchengladbach, Eintracht Frankfurt, Freiburg, Hamburg, Nice, Lille and Lazio are all interested in the player.

Moses Turay, 18, who is now wanting to sign his first professional contract with French League 1 outfit Football Club Troyes, has caught the eyes of many European clubs.

Sierra Leone drop massively on latest FIFA Rankings

Sierra Leone have dropped drastically in the latest FIFA rankings released by the world football governing body, on Thursday, October 6th.

The Leone Stars who were placed in 113 position when the last ranking was released in August have dropped four places down (117) following their disastrous display at the just ended International break.

The disappointment performance now see Sierra Leone drop down to 117 on the latest ranking, occurring 1160 points.

In Africa, Sierra Leone drop from 25th place to 28th place. Senegal remain at the top, followed by Morocco, Tunisia, Nigeria, Algeria, Egypt, Cameroon, Mali, Cote d'Ivoire and Burkina Faso.

I enjoyed every moment of my stay with your club, and I know we achieved a lot together. As I seek a new chapter in my career following the end of my time at your club, I want to let you know that I will depart with love in my heart for you, your family and everyone associated with FC Johansen and wish the Club the very best for the future.

Though I am returning to Ghana in search of a new chapter in my career, I will always cherish the day I wore the Green, White, and Blue of Sierra Leone in a Friendly International Match in Turkey against Liberia's National Team. For that gesture, I say many thanks Sierra Leone Football Association and Coaches and Players of Leone Stars. It was a great privilege for me and an opportunity I felt blessed and passionate about and will grab again if it arises in the future, regardless of whether I return to the Sierra Leone top flight league or play abroad.

This is because in my heart of hearts I feel so deeply about Sierra Leonean, and I love this country wholeheartedly.

To my brother Assod Karim and the entire Karim Family, words can't truly express how grateful I am to you. You guys helped me a lot in settling down by providing me the necessary hospitality . and other privileges in acclimatizing to the culture of Sierra Leone.
