The Vikings have done it again! They are proving to be the comeback kings of the tournament. After falling behind to a goal from the Falcons' Tushar, the Vikings dug deep and mounted an incredible comeback.

Rayhan was the undeniable hero, stepping up to score a brilliant brace (2 goals) and sn**ch a massive 2-1 victory.This team just doesn't know how to quit.

The comeback of the day.The Falcons (Goals: Murad, Sohan) came out flying and took the lead, but the Warriors (Goals: Sabbir, Sadaf, Rakibul) refused to give up, mounting an incredible turnaround to sn**ch the 3-2 victory. What a match!

Incredible action, amazing goals, and comebacks that define the game! Both matches showed unbelievable fight. Congratulations to all the teams on a fantastic, high-drama opening day.

United International University Vice Chancellor Cup Football Tournament 2024 (Season-2) Ends with Exciting Penalty Shootout! The Vice Chancellor Cup Football Tournament 2024 (Season-2) concluded with an exciting final, where UIU Vikings were crowned champions after a tense 0-0 full-time result against UIU Thunders. The match was decided in a dramatic penalty shootout, with the Vikings securing a 4-2 victory. The closing ceremony featured distinguished guests, including Prof. Dr. Md. Abul Kashem Mia, Honorable Vice Chancellor of UIU, who delivered a speech as the Chief Guest and presented key awards. The Most Attractive Jersey Awards went to UIU Warriors, UIU Galacticos, and UIU Thunders. Md. Ashif Azmine (C) from UIU Thunders won the Golden Ball for Best Player. The Golden Boot for Top Scorer was awarded to Shohanur Rahman Shohan from UIU Vikings, while Asif Bin Abdullah Antu from UIU Thunders claimed the Golden Gloves for Best Goalkeeper. Mahin Hossain Ador received the Gentle Spirit Honor Award for outstanding sportsmanship. Major General Abu Naser Md Elias (Retd.), COO of United Healthcare Services Ltd., presented the runner-up medals to UIU Thunders, while the Vice Chancellor awarded the championship medals and trophy to the victorious UIU Vikings.
