🚨 Another EAP regional qualifier for the 2028 T20 World Cup pathway has been confirmed. 🌏🏏

According to the Japan Cricket Podcast 🇯🇵, the East Asia-Pacific region will hold an additional qualifier to determine which team claims the region's spot at the Global Qualifier.

The number of participating teams has not yet been confirmed. However, Daniel Beswick has suggested that it could be a three-team qualifier.

🇲🇾 Malaysia will tour 🇧🇩 Bangladesh in August for a white-ball series against Bangladesh A and a Bangladesh U-23 side. 🏏

Malaysia will first face the Australia-bound Bangladesh A team in a two-match T20 series at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium, Mirpur.

The tour will then continue with three one-day matches against a Bangladesh side made up primarily of U-23 players.

🇬🇷 The Hellenic Cricket Federation has held talks with Greek-Australian players Peter Hatzoglou and Blake Nikitaras.

Hatzoglou brings experience from the PSL, Big Bash and The Hundred, while Nikitaras plays first-class cricket for New South Wales and has represented Sydney Thunder in the Big Bash.

At this stage, it is still unclear whether either player will be available for the upcoming qualifier. If available, they would be massive additions to the Greek side ahead of their European qualifiers. 🏏🇬🇷

🇬🇷 The elder brother of 🇦🇺 Australian international Sam Konstas has been added to the Greek national team ahead of the 2027 T20 World Cup Europe Qualifier C.

He is joined in the squad by another Greek-Australian, 21-year-old leg-spinning all-rounder Blake Faunce, who currently plays his cricket in Australia.

The additions give Greece some extra depth and experience as they look to make an impact in European qualifying.

With their victory in the Women's U-19 World Cup Asia Qualifier, the UAE have booked their place at the tournament to be hosted by Nepal 🇳🇵 and Bangladesh 🇧🇩.

This will be the second Women's U-19 World Cup appearance for the UAE🇦🇪

🏏 The final of the Women's U-19 World Cup Asia Qualifier will be played tomorrow at 2:00 PM (Malaysia time).

Whoever wins the match will book their ticket to the 2027 ICC Women's U-19 World Cup in Nepal and Bangladesh. 🌏🏆

Both teams are aiming to qualify for their second Women's U-19 World Cup appearance, making this one of the biggest matches in their cricketing history.

🏏 The inaugural European T20 Premier League will be played from 26 August to 20 September 2026.

The opening match of the tournament will see Rotterdam Dockers take on Amsterdam Flames at Voorburg 🇳🇱, while the final will be played at Malahide. 🍀

With six franchises, a strong mix of local, Associate and international talent, and matches spread across Europe, the ETPL will be one of the most anticipated Associate cricket events of the year.
