We are proud to officially introduce the newly formed South Asian Wrestling Council — a united body representing passionate wrestling leaders from across Bangladesh, India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, and Nepal.

We strongly share United World Wrestling (UWW) values and vision: to develop, promote, and uplift wrestling at every level across our region. The South Asian Wrestling Association has stood for collaboration, athlete support, and development since the early 1990s — and this new Council marks a renewed commitment to our mission.

Together, our council members, comprised of experienced professionals, technical experts, and national representatives — will work to:
- Promote regional training and development
- Organize events and competitions
- Support athletes, coaches, and referees
- Build unity and visibility for South Asian wrestling globally

This is a new chapter in our journey — one built on unity, purpose, and progress.

বাংলাদেশ এ্যামেচার রেসলিং ফেডারেশনের কার্যনির্বাহী কমিটির সভা ১১-০৯-২০২৩ ইং ফেডারশনের কক্ষে অনুষ্ঠিত হয়। সভায় সভাপতিত্ব করেন ফেডারেশনের সহ-সভাপতি জনাব এম এ কুদ্দুস খান। আরো উপস্থিত ছিলেন ফেডারেশনের সাধারণ সম্পাদক, জনাব তাবিউর রহমান , যুগ্ন- সম্পাদক মেসবাহউদ্দিন আজাদ , কোষাধ্যক্ষ জনাব ,, এম ,এ,সালেক এবং ফেডারেশনের বিভিন্ন কর্মকর্তা বৃন্দ।

চূড়ান্ত পর্ব - ঢাকা ২৬ ফেব্রুয়ারি হতে ০৪ মার্চ -২০২৩ তারিখ পর্যন্ত বাংলাদেশ অলিম্পিক এসোসিয়েশনের তত্ত্বাবধানে অনুষ্ঠিত হবে। সকলকে প্রয়োজনীয় প্রস্তুতি নিতে বিশেষভাবে অনুরোধ করা যাচ্ছে।
