8th April, 2026.

I am officially retiring from the BME Sports Team and handing over my captaincy. It is really hard to put into words what this journey has meant to me.
Over the past year, this team has been more than just a team but a family. We fought together, trained together, celebrated together and sometimes even faced defeats together. Even though we could not bring a trophy, we created something far more valuable memories, brotherhood and a strong identity as a team that never backs down.
Today seeing the passion, energy and respect from you all gives us immense confidence that the future of BME Sports is in great hands.
I would like to officially announce the new BME Captain

I have full faith that you will lead this team to greater heights, maintain the unity that we have built and bring even more success in the coming days. Leadership is not just about winning trophies, it is about inspiring people, man management, standing strong in tough times and keeping the team spirit alive. I know you will do all of that and more.

As I step down, I carry with me countless unforgettable moments. Every practice session, every match, every laugh in the field, every moment of unity.
This team has shaped me, taught me leadership, patience and resilience. Thank you all for being by my side and for your endless support. This is not a goodbye, this is just a new chapter.

Our trusted and most quality maintained place Fabrinest that was by our side in the last year including three sports and in 𝑪𝑬𝑳𝑬𝑺𝑻𝑹𝑨'𝟐𝟔 , the national biomedical engineering event organized by our very own MIST Einthoven Club.

As the Departmental Sports Representative, I would like to share few words.

From the day I was selected for this role, my first objective was to bring sporting success to our department by striving for trophies and strong representation. Alongside that, another equally important goal was to start a competitive sports platform for our female students who consistently contribute their support in sports and pay sports fees when every semester starts but receive limited opportunities (excluding hall sports) to participate in organized tournaments. This recent tournament was a step toward addressing that gap.

The Intra BME Powerpuff Badminton Tournament marks a beginning for structured female sports activities within the BME Department and I sincerely hope this initiative continues and obviously grows in the coming years. I also look forward to the support of the Directorate of Student Welfare (DSW) in organizing female sports tournaments on a broader scale from next onward.

Thank you to everyone who supported, participated and helped being official in making this event a success.

CHAMPIONS CROWNED – AND TWO STARS SHINE BRIGHT! ✨

What an incredible run by Frappe! With unstoppable teamwork and calm under pressure, Noushin and Prionty rose above everyone to claim the championship title.

A special shoutout to Noushin Ahmed, named Player of the Tournament, for her exceptional skill and winning mindset throughout the competition. 🙌

A huge shoutout to TA Court Crushers for an outstanding tournament journey. Tanny and Adiba showed grit, skill and determination till the very last rally, finishing proudly as runners-up. Respect for the fight!

Congratulations to Fairytale and C&R for securing a shared third place in the tournament. Emerging players of BME, Saima, Amrin, Christina, and Raisa delivered strong performances and true sportswomanship throughout the event. Well played and well deserved!

We are proud to present our four finalists who will battle it out for the title. This grand showdown brings together Level 2 and Level 4, setting the stage for a thrilling and unforgettable final.

From 10 teams to the final 2, the journey has been nothing short of thrilling! Tomorrow, the court will witness an exciting clash as Level 2 takes on Level 4, Who will be named as the "Best Badminton Player" of BME Dept?
