The General Meeting of the Bangladesh Blind Cricket Council (BBCC) was successfully held today(12 March 2026), where a historic decision was taken — Bangladesh will host the upcoming T-20 Cricket Asia Cup for the Blind.

This is a proud moment for our nation and a great opportunity to showcase the talent, determination, and spirit of visually impaired cricketers across Asia. Hosting this prestigious tournament will further strengthen the development and recognition of blind cricket in Bangladesh.

We look forward to welcoming teams from across the continent and making this event a memorable celebration of sportsmanship, inclusion, and excellence.

Bangladesh Blind Cricket Council (BBCC) is the national governing body dedicated to the promotion,development, and management of blind cricket in Bangladesh. We work to ensure that visually impaired athletes get equal opportunities to play,compete,and represent the nation with at both national and international levels.

BBCC works for visually impaired cricketers across Bangladesh- identifying talent,providing trainings and competition platforms,organizing domestic tournaments, and preparing national teams to compete on the global stage. Beyond the field, we advocate for inclusion,dignity,and recognition through sports.
