Second Semifinal Match Report 🏏

Faculty of Agriculture booked their place in the final with a convincing 45-run victory over Faculty of VAS.

Batting first, Agriculture posted a strong total of 121/6 in 10 overs, powered by a brilliant unbeaten 36 off 14 balls from Md Redoy Hasan. He was well supported by Jakaria Jewel (27 off 16) and Md Ashfaq Azad (24 off 10), ensuring a competitive score.

In reply, VAS struggled to build momentum and were bowled out for 76 in 9.2 overs. Despite small contributions from Abdullah Al Maruf (16) and Parvez (13), the target proved too challenging. Agriculture’s bowlers maintained tight control throughout the innings.

Md Redoy Hasan was named Player of the Match for his explosive batting performance.

Result: Faculty of Agriculture won by 45 runs and advanced to the final.

🏏 First Semi-Final Match Report

A dominant performance from the Faculty of Science sees them storm into the final with a convincing 39-run victory over the Faculty of SSH. 💪🔥

Batting first, Science posted a strong total of 107/7 in 10 overs, powered by a brilliant knock from Benjir Ahmed Shifa (37 off 26). Quick-fire contributions from Ariful Islam Rony (25 off 7) and a handy finish by Md Naimul Islam (18 off 7)* gave the innings a solid boost.

In response, Faculty of SSH struggled to build momentum and were bowled out for 68 in 9.4 overs. Sihad Biswas led the bowling attack with an outstanding spell (3 wickets for just 8 runs), earning him the well-deserved Player of the Match award. 🎯

Faculty of SSH delivered a dominant performance to secure a 20-run victory over Faculty of CSE.

Batting first, SSH posted a strong total of 121/8 in 10 overs, powered by brilliant knocks from Chotro (32 off 11), Shimlu (21 off 10), and Anup (18 off 😎.

In reply, CSE fought hard but managed 101/8, falling short despite efforts from Ashikur Arman (20 off 14) and Golam Rafi (17)*. SSH bowlers kept things tight, with Rasel Ahmed leading the attack.

The Faculty of Business Studies pulled off a dominant 8-wicket victory over the Faculty of Fisheries in a one-sided affair. The Faculty of Fisheries struggled to build momentum, finishing their 10 overs at 71-9 despite small contributions from Ismail (16*) and Alimul (15). This batting collapse was largely due to a masterful spell by Rakib, who dismantled the lineup with incredible figures of 3-2, supported well by Duti (2-3) and Reyon (2-8). The chase was a swift one, as Business Studies raced to 74-2 in just 7.2 overs. Sayed led the charge with a blistering 39 off 15 balls, while Shakib remained unbeaten on 11 to see the team home. For his game-changing bowling performance, Rakib was rightfully named Player of the Match.
