Dear Fans,
Due to technical and strategic reasons, as well as overwhelming request by fans, we have decided to re-name the Official page of Bangladesh Cricket Board to Bangladesh Cricket: The Tigers (https://www.facebook.com/bcbtigercricket)
The name Bangladesh Cricket, simultaneously stands to represent and can be referred to, both the Cricket Board and the Cricket Team, as BCB is the sole governing authority of cricket in Bangladesh. The name “Tiger”, by which the national team is known as, is incorporated to represent the newly launched official website of BCB, www.tigercricket.com.bd
However, Facebook policy does not permit any change of name once the page reaches 200+ likes. Still, we have made request to Facebook, only to have waited this long for any response. But due to operational and strategic reasons, we cannot wait any longer and as a result, have decided to migrate to our new home with the new name.
We request all our fans and members to ‘like’ our new page, Bangladesh Cricket : The Tigers (https://www.facebook.com/bcbtigercricket) to stay connected with the one and only Official Page of Bangladesh Cricket Board, as we will close this current page very soon.
