১৯৫২ সালের ২১ ফেব্রুয়ারি ঢাকায় রক্তঝরা আন্দোলনের মাধ্যমে মাতৃভাষা বাংলা রাষ্ট্রভাষা হিসেবে স্বীকৃতি লাভ করে। ১৯৯৯ সালে এসে বাংলা অর্জন করে ইউনেস্কো কর্তৃক আন্তর্জাতিক মাতৃভাষার স্বীকৃতি। একুশে ফেব্রুয়ারি হয়ে ওঠে মাতৃভাষার প্রতি সম্মান জ্ঞাপনের আন্তর্জাতিক তারিখ।

মাতৃভাষাকে ভালোবেসে অক্ষয় থাকুক একুশের চেতনা।
সকল ভাষা শহীদদের প্রতি বিনম্র শ্রদ্ধা।
