Basse Palmas Football Academy is pleased to confirm that an agreement has been reached with Bena Basse football Academy for the loan transfer of promising youngster, Ebrima Jogo Barry, for the remainder of the 2026 URR-FA Third Division League season.

The Gambia U-17 trainee will continue his development at the partner academy, gaining valuable playing experience and enhancing his skills.

We wish him the very best during his loan spell. 😊

The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has made a landmark decision regarding the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) 2025 final. Morocco has been declared the winner of the tournament after Senegal was stripped of its title for walking off the pitch in protest at a late penalty awarded to Morocco.

The CAF Appeal Board ruled that Senegal's actions constituted a breach of Articles 82 and 84 of the AFCON regulations, resulting in the team being declared forfeited and the match awarded 3-0 to Morocco.

This decision overturns the original result, where Senegal won 1-0 in extra time.

The ruling has sparked significant debate across African football, with questions raised about disciplinary consistency and tournament governance.
