Day three with the Hoke/Thomas crew. You coulda heard these guys hollering from Memphis😆.

Had to take a break for a sec. and just say to my ole friend watching down on all of us here, see I was paying attention... Just a small story of one of the men that showed me some of the ropes when it comes to making jigs. I've been fighting this mold all evening trying to get it to pour right. Some heads would be perfect a lot of others not so much. I was being hard headed and not listening to my buddy up there telling me to smoke the mold... well I finally listened. Every since, I've poured every head perfect (550 to be exact) and haven't had to fight with it any more. Mickey Reed, can't thank you enough for the knowledge you left behind when it comes to this trade. Love ya and miss you out there on the water every time I get to go. Can't wait to get back in a boat with you my friend!

The 7 ft 1 piece and the 10 ft rear seat super grip ACC Crappie Stix did all the work today hoisting these groceries from the deep water. The 007 Jigs grey ghost and the pink minnow was the ticket. Had to go test a few of them 007 Jigs this morning, well the proof is on the tailgate. Even had the ole man throwing them jigs this morning!! Ozzie Bond always a blast pops! ACC Crappie Stix always putting slabs over the side of the boat.

Been playing with a few!

What a day !! Got started late cause we didn’t want to fight the wind and cold but went anyway and backed the boat in and cranking battery was dead. Went and bought new battery and got with it. Froze my butt off but it’s seems to not be all that bad when you get on a pile of these. Enjoy every minute when me and Jeff Bond get get to go make memories. Thank you Jeff and those 007 Jigs was working great in the nasty conditions we were in. Ozzie Bond
