টাঙ্গুয়ার হাওরের পরিবেশ ও জীববৈচিত্র্য রক্ষায় পর্যটকবাহী হাউসবোট চলাচলে নিষেধাজ্ঞা জারি করেছে সুনামগঞ্জ জেলা প্রশাসন। রোববার (২২ জুন) রাতে জারি করা এক জরুরি বিজ্ঞপ্তিতে জানানো হয়, পরবর্তী নির্দেশনা না দেওয়া পর্যন্ত হাওরের ওয়াচ-টাওয়ার ও তার আশপাশের এলাকায় কোনো হাউসবোট প্রবেশ করতে পারবে না।
