The overall objective of OPEN HOUSE is to develop and to implement a common European transparent building assessment methodology, complementing the existing ones, for planning and constructing sustainable buildings by means of an open approach and technical platform.

The OPEN HOUSE consortium would like to invite you to the launch event of the OPEN HOUSE methodology the 25th of July in Brussels.

This launch event is an unique opportunity to:
- learn about the OPEN HOUSE methodology,
- see how it embodies the principles of transparency and openness,
- hear how it has been successfully applied to 68 buildings,
- find out about the resources that are available to implement the methodology throughout the EU
- understand how it is related to other European initiatives

The registration is open until the 19th of July.

OPEN HOUSE will be presented at the sb13 munich conference (www.sb13-munich.com). This conference is part of a series of international sustainable building conferences and will take place from April 24 to 26 2013.

OPEN HOUSE presentations in IALCCE 2012 in Vienna.

The Third International Symposium on Life-Cycle Civil Engineering (IALCCE 2012) holds a special session on "Sustainability certification of new and of existing buildings" on Friday the 5th of October 2012. Three presentations about OPEN HOUSE will be done to introduce the assessment framework, the assessment tools & process and results from case studies.
