Yesterday was a special one for us.

Wout had his first real training at Circuit Zolder with the racecar. A big step, and honestly, as a father and grandfather, also a moment with some nerves.

But he did really well.

The day was all about building up slowly, learning the basics and getting more comfortable in the car step by step. No pressure, no big expectations, just taking the time to do things properly.

And that’s exactly what he did.

He showed good structure, stayed calm, listened, learned, and throughout the day you could see the pace coming more and more naturally.

For Jef and Bart this was a proud moment. After all the preparation so far, seeing Wout take this next step gave the whole project a real boost.

Another small but important step on the road with Third Stint Racing.

Three generations. One family. One car. One dream.

Het is een familieverhaal in beweging.

Een grootvader die de deur opende.
Een vader die de droom levend hield.
Een zoon die zijn eerste echte stappen zet achter het stuur.

Drie generaties. Eén familie. Eén wagen. Eén droom.

Many people ask us the same question:

“Are you racing the 24 Hours of Zolder in 2026?”

The answer is: not yet.

And that is exactly the point.

Third Stint Racing is not built around one race weekend.
It is built around a journey.

That journey has already started.

The first tests are behind us.
Wout has passed his racing license test.
And step by step, the dream is becoming more real.

But 2026 is not the final destination.

2026 is our foundation year.

A year to train.
To test.
To learn.
To build experience.
And to prepare for the Race Promotion Night, our first real race milestone.

Because before we can race the 24 Hours of Zolder, we have to respect the road that leads to it.

In 2027, we plan to take the next step with two races.

And then comes the one that means everything:
The 24 Hours of Zolder.
August 2027.
Our legacy race.

At Circuit Zolder, Wout successfully completed his racing license test, an important milestone in the Third Stint Racing journey and a proud step for the next generation of our family.

This is what our story is all about: growing together, chasing a shared dream, and seeing each new chapter come to life.

From generation to generation, the passion keeps moving forward.

Next up: his first test in a proper race car this July.
