Alex Totkova Climbing

To be completely honest, I’m pleasantly tired from the competition, the emotions, and every beautiful moment that came with it.

The qualifications went smoothly, the semifinals felt controlled, and in the final I’m most happy that I was able to climb with confidence, trust myself, and truly enjoy every move.

For a moment, I felt like I was 16 again - back in the beautiful Chamonix, where I won my first medal. The difference is that today I’m not just stronger physically, but I also carry so much more experience, awareness, and mental strength.

I think I’ve finally made peace with myself, at least to some extent. And maybe that’s exactly why things are finally starting to come together. The road to here hasn’t been easy. There have been doubts, setbacks, and difficult moments, but every one of them has shaped me into the athlete and the person I am today.

My heart is full of gratitude.

Thank you, God, for guiding me. Thank you to my coaches for believing in me, to my sponsors for standing by me, and to my parents for their endless love and support. This medal belongs to all of you as much as it belongs to me. ❤️

I’m incredibly happy. 🥹
So many emotions all at once - pressure, a little tired, but above all, gratitude and satisfaction.

To be honest, something inside me kept telling me it would happen here in Chamonix once again.

My mom told me I would either win or bring home a medal. My grandmother believed the same, and so did my closest friends - the people I consider family.

A huge thank you to my coaches and my dad, who have been the foundation of every step I’ve taken forward 🫂

One week in Bulgaria. 🇧🇬
Every time I come back, I’m reminded of how much I love my home country. ❤️

Two days in my hometown with my family, then back to Sofia for training and the excitement of an interview.

I realized how much I like my life - climbing, learning new things, unexpected situations, and spending time with the people I love.
It never feels like enough.

Now I’m in Innsbruck for a week of preparation before the next
World Cup in 🇫🇷

This was my first competition of the season, and I felt every moment of it. After all the hard work that went into my preparation, I’m grateful to be back doing what I love.

Every competition is a mix of emotions, but climbing is the passion that never fades. It was an honor to climb alongside such incredible athletes, and the atmosphere was truly inspiring.

This is just the beginning of the season. I know I have much more to show. 🧗‍♀️✨

Two weeks in Innsbruck went by really fast…

I’m happy that physically I’m feeling good, and mentally I gradually managed to relax and climb freely and with confidence. 🫠🙂

My shape is better than it has been in the past few months, but I still want to improve it further to achieve the results I’m aiming for. 🤤

It was also great to catch up with friends in Austria. 🇦🇹
