Oskar meets Luna - somewhere close to the just 20 min from the city center of Sofia, capital of Bulgaria! Who would have thought it?! Lovely Luna belongs to our new manager Iva, who is super happy to be able to work from her home town after 10 years in Berlin - cause Sprykees can (our abbreviation for „Work from Anywhere“)! Big plus: Now she has her zen pet with her - taking the stress instantly away when she decides to hop on her desk and starts purring 😸😸😸

500….what?!! Yes - 500 incredible passionate, driven, unique, talented AND fun herd members! It has been a tough ride for our people & culture department to find all these brilliant Sprykees - but as they’re also the best herd keepers you can imagine, we simply keep on growing - losing almost no one on the way! Because: Growth didn’t kill our vibe

😎 Looking back at these pictures we can hardly believe that this really happened this summer - but at the same time, it gives us motivation and hope: We will do it again! 💪

We will be UNITEd again, we will connect, party and celebrate the success of our team in 2022! We will make it HAPPEN - because we are THE HERD! 🥳🙌🎊

In these 'Betwixtmas' days, what better to do than reminisce about our amazing memories of 2021...🌴

After uncountable days of home office, social distancing, and remote meetings we decided this summer, that it was time to re-UNITE our herd! 🙌 

We knew it would be harder than ever before to organize such an event including a super strict testing concept! But: all efforts paid off! WE MADE IT HAPPEN! And for all of us, it was a once-in-a-lifetime experience! Well - for those who stay a part of the herd it will become a "once-in-a-year experience!" 😉

And here it is: The last picture of our „Seven years of Spryker“ series! Looking at this one we’re somewhere between speechless, proud and a little bit in disbelief that this really happened: Did we really re-unite our whole herd from all parts of the globe on a private island in the sunny south of Europe?! Did we really celebrate all our achievements of the last years - TOGETHER AS A TEAM for whole three days? Did we really have the most epic company off-site we could think of? And did we do this with a super strict testing & hygiene concept that couldn’t have worked better? Well - although we do have some really good designers at Spryker we can say: this is not photoshop - we REALLY DID IT! And we’re looking forward to share some more insights with you because we’re sure after seeing the recap of this amazing event even more people will want to join our herd and be a part of the next “Spryker UNITE” as we definitely plan to do this on an annual base from now on!

The next unforgettable Spryker memory: Us, braving the elements on a 72ft race yacht! Turned out: Sailing this boat has a lot in common with working at Spryker: You only can do it as a TEAM! That’s why being a “herd player” is one of our elementary Spryker DNA traits every Sprykee needs to bring along!

Do you still remember it? These good old times, when fairs & trade shows were the most normal thing in the world? But although they were normal that didn’t hold us back making everyone of them a bit more special than usually expected!

Apart from our super charming booth staff - on this picture represented by two of our top ten funniest employees & Simon Brugger (who didn’t find his way to yet to share his hilarious “metaphors of the day”) we came up with special guests like our first mentalist .harry, the mind blowing illusionist and the one and only booth DJ !

But also the Spryker booth itself was always a super special universe that was created by the best event agency we ever met: Thanks to we were always able to create an atmosphere to have great & intimate conversations in the middle of this crazy trade fair huste and bustle!

7 years of Spryker is not just seven years of hard work but also of great memories: So we decided to post one of it every single day of our entire birthday week.

Let’s start with our incredible „Summer of Love“! Celebrating the success by bringing our herd together to build strong relationships and even friendships has always been an important part of our ! One person, who has promoted this like no other can be seen on this picture: Our director people & culture is not just a natural born hippy but also the most caring „HR“ we’ve ever seen (although the term „HR“ is outdated at Spryker as this department does so much more for us as reflected in the new name „People & Culture“). Stay curios for tomorrow’s memory!

To celebrate Spryker’s 7th birthday we spared no expense and equipped one of our favorite Spryker celebrities with the latest tech & branding equipment to produce a suitable birthday shot! Ok, we might have spared a bit…so more money for celebration drinks tonight!🍹 We’re already looking forward to the next 7 years of this wild roller coaster commerce ride. Expect continuous growth of our beloved herd & our continued questioning of the status quo of commerce software like we always have!
