The Bahrain Golf Association is delighted to announce that the 8th Bahrain Amateur Open will be played from 21st to 24th October 2026. More details may be found in the attached flayer. The winner will receive a special invitation to the 2026 King Hamad Trophy which includes 5 nights accommodation.

Huge congratulations to our junior players Mohammed Isa, Salman Al Khalifa, and Yaqoob Majid for their outstanding performances at the Tatarstan Junior Open played from 11th to 12th July 2026 at the AK Bars and Sviyaga Hills golf clubs, Kazan, Tatarstan. Mohammed came first in the under 12 years Division with a score of 160 follwed by Salman in second place with a score of 182. Yaqoob Majid finished third in the under 18 Division with a score of 157.

Congratulations to Khalifa Al Kaabi for winning May's competition of the BGA Golf Series 2026 played last weekend at the Royal Golf Club. Khalifa secured the title after finishing the 2 days competition at 8 under par, a new tournament record. Khalifa Almerisi and Hamad Mubarak finished tied 2nd at 3 over par.
