Dear Love felt like memory. Memory of things I lived and things I’ve buried so deep I can’t name them. It felt like watching someone else bleed beautifully on the page and realizing it was my blood too.

I recognize myself in your work. In the longing, in the ache, in the joy and stillness between heartbreaks. You’ve captured what it means to be a woman trying to love herself while carrying a lifetime of unmet needs. You’ve wrapped shame and grief in velvet and offered it back as art, as proof that survival can look like softness too.

Thank you for reminding me I am art. That my pain is not too loud, too much, too dramatic. That it deserves to be witnessed.

Thank you for creating worlds where vulnerability isn’t just allowed—it’s sacred.

Thank you for teaching me that healing can be cinematic. That sometimes the most radical thing you can do is feel everything.

Healing my inner child is more than just revisiting my past—it’s about reshaping the way I show up for myself today. The patterns we form when we’re young often echo in our adult lives: the need to be accepted, the fear of taking up space, the urge to be responsible for everyone’s emotions. But as we heal, we remind ourselves that worthiness isn’t conditional.

Every time I give myself grace, stand firm in my boundaries, or choose rest over hustle, I’m rewriting the story for the little me who thought she had to be perfect. The most beautiful gift that I can give myself is the freedom to exist fully and authentically. 🥰

I believe that deep connection sits on the opposite end of the spectrum from our current condition. Connection with ourselves, with our lovers, with the earth. We need to be tethered to something. I started to create, and this is the message that wanted to be shared. Please enjoy this anthology on connection, the art of love.

Many of us have experienced trauma or emotional wounds that have made us believe that love has to be painful, chaotic, or something to fight for.

But here’s the truth: love shouldn’t hurt, and intimacy doesn’t have to be filled with chaos. Take the time to look at your past and do the work to break these toxic cycles.

Let’s face it, we are all consistently glued to our phones and maintaining real, deep connection with our partners is becoming increasingly more difficult.

Without connection (in my humble opinion), none of this is worth it. And I don’t just mean intimate, romantic connection. I mean platonic connection, family connection, any connection. We are struggling as a society and community with intimacy. I am deeply concerned about it. 🤔

I know how much we need closeness and I see how often many of us are going without it. It is my intention that we decide as a community, as family, and as lovers, to reconnect and to do so, deeply.
