We were indeed so blessed and privileged to observe God's beautiful creatures. I must say, it was uncomfortable and sad to watch animals devour another animal, but we received an education of how nature works together as a team, supporting each other, AND how nature also feeds on each other to survive.

Sometimes, humans work as a wonderful team and support each other, and other times humans become frustrated, irritated, angry, and unkind. Let's be more intentional to be kind, loving and supportive of each other at all times, as we live together in God's amazing world!

Here are other beautiful pictures we took. We were so close to many of them, we could touch them. But, we were safely tucked away in a jeep. The whole experience was awesome!

It's amazing to see God's creatures up close. These animals were so close to our jeep, we could have reached out to touch them! Absolutely thrilling! I was so excited to take these beautiful pictures!

Our Extraordinary Experience: Spotting The Big Five, & 3 Kills, In 3 Days!
Sounds impossible but that's what we did!

We travelled 20 long hours from Bermuda to Kenya! A highlight of this month-long trip was our awesome 3-day visit to Maasai Mara National Reserve and Lake Nakuru National Park. Our tour guide, Saidi Daysai Mtsumi, was extraordinary! His welcoming, patient, vivacious, friendly personality, organizational abilities, skilled driving, and vast knowledge about the animals and land reserve, all created a safe and exciting experience for us.

He positioned us to witness 5 lions strategically surround, pounce on, kill and devour a warthog; a leopard in a tree eating and protecting its prey; and several lions devouring a giraffe. We also spent time observing a male lion wooing a female right at the front of our jeep!

Saidi was determined that we must see The Big Five, and he made it happen! We took close up pictures and videos of elephants, rhinoceros, buffalos, zebras, baboons, gazelles, crocodile, hippopotamus, giraffes, hyena, wart hogs, mongoose, impala, jackals, monkeys, birds, and much more.

With Saidi's determination and skill, it was a whirlwind tour of exhilarating thrill and unforgettable adventure! Thank you so much!
