Cariocas Walking Football training session!
After I introduced walking football to some friends in Macaé (a beach town near Rio de Janeiro), they formed their own team!
This pitch was specially prepared for their walking football training sessions, which take place every Thursday. Excellent work by Medeiros, Leo Gazire, and Pacheco—the team responsible for walking football in Macaé!
Now we have 3 walking football squads in Brazil!

We are happy!
We participated in a wonderful walking football tournament, very well organized, with teams with a tradition in walking football. To give you an idea, we are the only Brazilian walking football team currently active in all of Brazil. We traveled from Rio de Janeiro to Novara - surely about 15 hours of travel - with only 8 players to compete in the over 50 category, with a team composed of 5 players over 60 years old (one of whom is 77 years old).
Tenth place, in a tournament with 14 teams, was a victory for us.
